    Do not trust this deceptive company. Aggressive sales tactics designed to take advantage of your situation (such as threatening to raise your price if you don't pay some of your cost up front). They are not a moving company. They contract a moving company for you, meaning using their services is just paying a middle man for a company you could have called yourself. Made mistake of agreeing to hire this company. Safe Ship would not return my deposit even though absolutely NOTHING was accomplished in support of my move. No packing or moving. They need to at least return my deposit that was elicited in a deceptive manner. *****!

    This company is a scam and are run by thieves, veterans should be appalled by having being associated with criminals. The reviews are all negative and nothing is done about it. I am sure that it is owned and operated by foreigners and everyone is terrified to fight back. You who are affiliated with safe ship are low life pond scum.

    I called, got a friendly sales guy who casually did a quote and sent a contract. Price was good and he said finalizing details will be in a few weeks. That call came and price increased by $10,000. Couldn't cancel because you have only 3 days after the first quote to cancel but how would you know about the increase?Then the movers they sent, Just Pro Movers, came packed but left a ton of items behind that I didn't know about. I hired them to pack because I wasn't able to do it. But ended up cramming as much as I could in my car last minute.The delivery was worse because the ****** was mean, put stuff together wrong, many items were chipped, broken and parts *********** no sympathy at all from the review team, CSI.I learned a valuable ****** and will make sure anyone I know who is moving is aware of this kind of company.

    This complaint is for both the pack and ship who quoted the fraudulant pricing but also for the actual moving company. Both were deplorable .

    I wanted to share my experience regarding our recent move from **** to ********** in September. We initially scheduled with Safe Ship *************** but a week before our move, we were contacted by ***** Moving and Storage in *********, stating they were hired by Safe Ship. They arrived much later than scheduled and demanded an additional $4,000, which we had no choice but to accept. We stored our furniture with Oasis for five months, paying $900 a month, and when we finally scheduled delivery, many items were damaged, including our TV, fire pit, grill, and tables, with water damage to the couches as if they had been left outside in the rain. We filed a complaint, but their insurance only offered $300 for damages that exceeded $9,000. After escalating the matter to the **** BBB, and FMCSA, ***** contacted us with a proposal to settle for $3,000 if we dropped the complaints, which we did. However, ***** has failed to pay us, and now they claim that we should contact *** from Safe Ship for our payment, but he has not responded to my emails or calls. We are now pursuing legal action against both companies due to their lack of follow-through and what appears to be a scam, even after we have email confirmation with the agreement

    This company is the biggest scam I have ever seen. They are not a moving company as implied. They are simply a broker. They charged us $5,500 for a couple of phone calls and to send the job to an actual moving company. The price They charged went up multiple times based on how many cubic feet we had which would have made sense if they were the ones shipping. However like I said all they did was have 3 15 min phone calls with us and send the job over to a company to do the actual moving portion who we then had to pay an additional 8k to. What safe ship actually did had absolutely nothing to do with how much stuff we were moving and their fee should not have been based on that. It's nothing short of straight up robbery. I cannot stress enough do NOT use this company. They are crooks.

    I ONLY left 1 star because I HAD to, to leave my review, which is, "ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO MAIL OR SHIP ANYTHING, I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DROP OFF/SHIPMENT STORE." I went to this Safe Ship this morning to get my fingerprints taken for employment requirements and the manager was shockingly rude. She said her name was ******* but I thought I overheard someone call her **** (who knows, maybe my bad). Anyways, she was instantly rude to me and when I asked her why she was being rude to me she said because I had an attitude! I'd hardly spoken to her when she became short with me and snapped at me to give her two forms of ID and got impatient with me as I was looking for the barcode on my phone. She impatiently went to the fingerprint machine and kept saying, "You already found the barcode. And I said I need two forms of ID." Her tone was condescending and rude so I told her that I wanted the other lady in the store to help me and that's when she said I had an attitude! I asked her if I could speak to the manager and she said, "That's me." Then, as if to mock me, there was what I am assuming to be a regular customer nearby that said, "Oh, (manager) you are SO wonderful!" She said this to the woman who had been rude to me, who claimed she was the manager, and said her name was *******. I then asked her if, since she was the manager, if she thought it was okay to treat her customers this way. She didn't answer. I got my fingerprints done by the other employee. On my way out, I asked the manager for her business card and her name. She said sarcastically, "My name is *******. Should I spell it for you?" For her to be FLAT OUT rude to me for no reason, and pretty much as soon as I walked into her store, was totally unprofessional, inappropriate, and rude.To the manager, ******* (did I spell it correctly?) - or **** - whatever your name is, you should know that there is a little thing called Karma. May it come to visit you very soon.

    When this customer came in for her background check, she was not happy and very confused that a pack and ship store did background checks.

    When I clarified that we did do them, I asked her for 2 pieces of ID which is standard.  She ignored me and kept looking at her phone.  So again, I asked her for her ID.  She snapped at me saying she was looking for her appointment.  I told she had it opened already, again she snapped at me.  I headed to the fieldprint machine and let her know I would meet her there.

    When she got to the machine, she handed me 1 piece of ID.  Again, I let her know I needed 2 pieces.  At that she, she started raising her voice which my other customers in the store looked at her.  She requested another staff member to do her background which we accommodated her.

    She asked to speak to a manager, which I told her I was. She was so not happy to hear this. 

    She asked for a business card and again asked me for my name which I gave her.

    At this time, one of my customers asked her why she was acting this way and why she was so rude to me. She did not respond.

    We do approximately 12 background checks a day and don't have any issues.

    It was the worst move we have ever had. We were overcharged, they arrived the day before our closing. Every time we met with someone, the price went up. They packed ** and we had broken glass on our art work, two of our dining chairs were broken, and the packed boxes were mostly smashed by the time they arrived. I wish we had seen all of the complaints and cancelled! We are in our 80s and to be treated with such disrespect by this company was a terrible blow and they should be ashamed of themselves!DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!***************************

    They lied since the very start, didn’t ship things that I had requested, and they overcharged thousands. The worst company on the planet. They need to be dissolved as a company. Awful human beings taking advantage of people’s hard earned money
