    This company installed a roof on my house in 2019 and gave me a warranty dating May 3, 2019 to May 3, 2024. The roof started leaking in *********************************** Sept 2023 to have them inspect the roof and correct the installation under the warranty. I called their office phone number, talked with the answering agency and left the information that my roof was leaking and I needed an inspection. No reply. I emailed the company at the email address on their website (still there today) with the same information and got no reply. I texted the owner, **** Calloway, at the number I had for him during the time he was doing the work. No reply. I sent a letter following up on all this to the address on their website (still there today). No reply. Since the leak was causing damage to my house and I had no reply from this company, I hired a local roofer to inspect the roof and assess the damage. I also called an insurance adjuster to inspect the roof and damage caused by the leak. The roofer showed me where the roof was installed incorrectly (only half the required screws were used, trim/end protection pieces were hanging by a single s**** and incorrect vents and flashing were used, which caused the leak. The insurance adjust saw no evidence of any storm damange and there was no record of a wind/storm occuring in their database at the location of the home. He also pointed out incorrect flashing that could cause leaks. He also assessed over $10,000 in water damage inside the home. I paid the roofer to repair the roof and replace the incorrect and incorrectly installed vents at a cost of $7,850. I then called the company and got the address where I was to send a warranty claim letter to the company. I sent this letter with all the necessary information via **** with a signature required. The company refused to sign and sent it back Return To Sender. It is obvious this company is dishonest and is doing all they can to avoid honoring their warranty.

    Callaway roof took almost two years to fix my roof after they got my money, now I still waiting on them to send me the balance from my check.

    The clients time frame is inaccurate. The insurance claim she filed was denied, and the customer chose to go to litigation to recover the funds necessary to complete work. The litigation process took nearly 2 years. We have zero ability to control that process. We are not a law firm.

    In regards to the balance she is referring to, no money is owed to the client. The approved scope for the roof system was completed. The customer still has an outstanding balance due to Calloway Roofing. We emailed the customer with the settlement documentation from the law firm that handled the case, along with the estimate that was used by the law firm to obtain those funds, to show the breakdown of everything. The claim was not paid in full by the insurance company however and only the roof portion of the claim was paid. We have all documentation to show these items and timeline.
