    Back in May 1 2023, I had an MRI scheduled upon my surgeons request. I was never told by Advent Health that they did not receive clearance for the test. Now , Im in terrible pain , arrive for the test and she says , you will have to pay for this yourself. or cancel. I said Im in too much pain , Ill pay. I paid with my *********** credit card. I proceeded to go thru my Aetna to find out why it wasnt covered. I sent them all the documentation they needed. My surgeons office did as well , ***** finally did pay but they sent Advent another Check for ******.not me . Thus Advent Imaging got paid twice and Ive gotten nothing. I contacted my credit card company. They have been In communication with Advent. They got written proof that Advent was paid twice and its still on my credit card. This isnt right. Why should they be paid twice? Im so frustrated that they have been giving me the run around.

    Good afternoon,

    The patient was contacted on 1/19/2023 by the Billing Advocate team but a voicemail had to be left for the patient to call back. 

    According to the Advocate team, "her insurance did process the claim and they paid $206.99 and adjusted $191.86 off leaving her a patient responsibility of $230.00 that she paid in full at the time of service.If she has an EOB that reflects otherwise, we will have her send us a copy so we can correct the account."

    On April 12, 2022 I had some Imaging services done at AdventHealth Imaging Center Princeton. The services were for 2 or 3 MRIs. Within a short period of time I received a bill for $50 which I promptly paid. Several (about 5 ) months later I received an additional bill for services at the same time, place and for the same prescription/request for an additional $50. I have spent numerous hours with various parties at AH to no avail and no direct response - just more billing.

    This is no different than having blood drawn for several tests at the same time. One bill is issued and one bill is due and payable. I should get one bill for the entire amount due. If the insurance claim was not submitted properly, I should not be required to pay for that issue either. ONE PLACE, ONE TIME, ONE BILL!!

As such, I am responding to your inquiry on their behalf. It is our mutual goal to provide accurate and timely billing services in a satisfying manner to the patients of AdventHealth Imaging.

    Our review of the patient's account has resulted in these findings:



    AdventHealth Imaging is billing for the radiology services performed.



    Statements were sent to the patient on 5/28/22, 10/25/22 and 12/24/22.



    The patient is responsible for the $50 balance due on the account.



    A supervisor left message for the patient on 1/4/23 to discuss details of account. The patient can call (866)481-7574 to discuss further if necessary.





    We regret for the inconvenience this has caused ******* ****** At this time, we request you close this complaint as we have resolved it in a satisfactory manner.
