    Performance Tire and Wheel (PTW) gave me an estimate on 3/19/2025 for several repairs, that included replacing the pulley and tensioner. This work was scheduled with *** to be done the next week on 3/28/2025. After speaking with my mechanic **** at ******************** (***) I was advised that based on what the *** owner ***** stated to **** about the condition of the pulley and belt, that I should have the car towed in and the work on the pulley and tensioner done before driving again. This work was completed at *** the next day on 3/20/2025. The next week I returned to *** for the remaining work to be done. At that time I did not remember to mention that the pulley and tensioner was brand new and that work was already completed. When I picked up my car that afternoon, I questioned that the work had been done again despite the parts being obviously brand new and if there was an issue why I wasn't called. ***** assured me that he did the work personally on my car, that the part was worn, so it was replaced. I took him at his word and paid the entire bill, including the charges for the pulley and tensioner and related labor. I later spoke with my mechanic **** at *** and learned that he had indeed replaced the part in question the prior week. **** spoke with *****, who said to send me back to the shop and he would 'make it right'. I went to *** today and after requesting three times to speak with *****, another man said he was the owner, knew of the situation and would handle it. He said he personally did the work in question. That he was bleeding from the forehead at the time and didn't notice the parts were new. He said he would offer a partial refund. Since I wanted to deal with *****, I said I was going to leave and walked out the open door. He loudly said something about me having poor communication skills. I reentered and angrily asked what he said to me. He said I behaved like a kindergartener, storming out the door. I turned around and walked out again.
