    Purchased Book Case/Etagere in late December 2021. Informed merchant that we were moving into new construction Home approximately March 2022. Merchant stated that is fine because most orders take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered. Asked merchant what if item arrives earlier. They stated they would take delivery and hold in store. Offered to purchase floor model. Was advised by Courtney that floor model is not for sale. We moved into our home May 27, 2022. Called Merchant to take delivery. Merchant stated that item would be delivered July 17, 2022. Called Merchant July 7 to get an update. Keep in mind that merchant does not provide updates. If I don't call I simply do not get any information from merchant. Merchant stated new delivery date is late September 2022. I asked to cancel the order and provide refund since item was paid in full $1,905.00 and merchant refused. I offered to take floor model and merchant stated that it was sold although we were told by Courtney that they could not sell floor models. I feel this business is deceptive in there practice. Do not care about customer relationship and outright lie. I also feel they are discriminatory having told me and my wife that they don't sell floor models yet turn around and sell the floor model to someone else as confirmed by Manager Tammy. I will never do business with this type of establishment and feel that I have more than patient waiting 7 months on a deliver and told to wait an additional 3 months. Our mistake was clearly paying for the item in full, in advance, as well as, trusting this deceptive business.

    This complaint is nothing to do with the lateness of the item we purchased, we understand they're just middle men and especially during covid we understand and accept things are messy. This complaint is regarding the negligence of this company holding our funds hostage and limiting our options, not giving us the opportunity to make choices that are best for us, instead making the situation what was best for them. The company took over 10k from me for a couch back in June of 2021. The delivery date was determined as December 2021 which was on the very furthest end of what was acceptable for us due to our circumstances. From November of 2021 to December my wife reached out several times for an update from company as we had not heard from them 5 months, we were ignored between November and early December. Eventually after making a lot of fuss we got a rude one sentence email saying the couch would arrive around March 2022. Someone from the store called stating "We normally reach out to our clients regularly, we'll have a talk with the rep you dealt with." and if you just read the companies Google reviews, you'll see they have a record for behaving this way. Once you have parted with your money, you go to the bottom of their priority list and get ignored. It's really bad business practice at best, and just damn right rude. Awful business and customer service, avoid if possible!
