    I bought a 'scratch and dent' refrigerator from Karls *****************************conditioning service LLC on 7/30/2024 and they delivered it the next day (7/31) at around noon. My toilet overflowed the same day the refrigerator died, and so it just so happened that the toilet was being fixed at the same time the refrigerator was being delivered, so I was a little distracted. **** (the owner) and an assistant delivered the new refrigerator and took away my old one. When they did that, they damaged 4 planks of my vinyl wood floors. (see the picture) Deep cuts in the vinyl. I was distracted talking with the plumber and did not see when they did the damage. When he was leaving, **** said to wait 24 hours to put food in the fridge because it needed time to cool down, so I didn't notice the floor was cut & scraped. He did not own up to the fact that he damaged my floors. He was hoping I wouldn't notice at the time he was leaving. I went to work and saw the damage when I got back home. I called **** the next day. He changed his story and lied to me. I asked him how he could make this right and help with fixing the damaged planks. He said "the floors were already like that" and then offered me $200 off my next purchase in his store. I told him I would investigate the cost of fixing the damage and get back to him. They already cashed my check for the refrigerator and are not willing to pay for the damage they caused. I have at least 6 witnesses that can attest to the fact that the floors were not that way before the damage happened on 7/31/24
