On 1:/11/24 at approximately 2:00pm, I drove to Grease Monkey Oil ************* I asked the attendant to change the headlight bulb on the front left side of my vehicle, he replaced it successfully, and double checked that the headlight was working, and it did work. I then asked if he could also change the front right headlight too. He advised that it was more difficult to get to because it was located in a hard to reach area. However, he agreed to do it if I wanted to change it. Then, another employee named *** stepped in to do it. I waited in the office as he directed for more than an hour. Then *** came into the waiting area of the office and called me outside, near my vehicle. He stated that he was able to change the 2nd bulb, but I needed to take it to a Jeep Dealership because a piece of the housing, a metal round shaped part came out. *** advised he would not charge me for the cost of the 2nd bulb, since the headlight was not working. *** advised he worked next store and his wife was the assistant manger at Greese Monkey and would compose a document to show the police in case I was pulled over for a non-working headlight. The next day I went to ********************** phone # ************ and explained my problem with Grease Monkey changing the headlight, I handed him the metal piece given to me by *** at Grease Monkey,. The manager at Campbells **** said he would look at it, then he came out to tell me that the bulb was not properly installed it was just sitting in the housing unit and it would eventually burn the complete housing unit of the headlight and I would need to replace the entire headlight. He offered to have **** his employee glue the metal piece properly. **** stated that the worker at Grease Monkey should have only turned the bulb and NOT detach the metal piece attached to the headlight. I would like Grease Monkey to re-embers me for the cost of $319.50 that I had to pay. Invoice # ******.
