    Terrible Vacation Rental Experience - Great Oceans Condos and Homes I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Great Oceans Condos and Homes during my stay at one of their rental properties, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution potential renters.Communication and Management: My frustration began with the lack of direct contact options for renters. While Great Ocean Realty has direct numbers for prospective property buyers, renters are left in the dark with zero direct contact availability. This lack of direct communication channels made it challenging to address the numerous issues I encountered during my stay.Misrepresentation of Property: The property I rented was a far cry from the representation provided on their website. The unit was dated, poorly maintained, and lacked the expected cleanliness. The condition of the property, including moldy toilets, filthy vents, and non-working saunas, left me questioning the company's commitment to maintaining the properties they manage.Slow Response Time and Indifference: Despite reporting multiple issues, the response time from Great Oceans Condos and Homes was painfully slow. I found myself held hostage for four days without a second fob for entry, an unacceptable inconvenience that should have been addressed promptly. The attitude of indifference displayed by the management team was disheartening.Maintenance Issues: The laundry list of maintenance issues I encountered during my stay was extensive, including gas grills badly rotted, a dated and stained couch, filthy kitchenware, a non-heating coffee maker, a mis-calibrated oven, broken garage and TV remotes, an unusable balcony door, missing furniture, a broken trash can lid, and more. The property was not only poorly maintained but also presented serious health and safety concerns.

    Great Oceans Condos and Homes of New Smyrna Beach, FL is a Very Poor Condo Rental Company based on our 2023 experience.
    1) No internet or cable tv as promised during my 7 day stay. They finally acknowledged on 7th day that the CONDO OWNER was reached and he'd changed his payment method to Spectrum. On Day 4, I contacted Spectrum Cable and Internet Co. They told me the service was disconnected prior to my arrival for NON PAYMENT. For 4 days Great Oceans Condos and Homes circle of employees each told me the problem was on my end and I should call Spectrum Cable.
    2) Condo was marketed as NO PETS, which was important to us due to allergies. The cat hair was floating all around the unit. An asthma attack with loss of voice followed. I evacuated on Day 7.
    I then worked with my charge card company on a dispute for 100% of the charges. It was a fight with Great Oceans, but CHASE ruled in our favor. The 100% credit for the 23 day prepayment ahead of arrival was judged as permanent.
    So, we had to leave on the 7ths day. Great Oceans Condos and Homes and their former owner Jennifer ****** who is a leader in the vacation rental industry for the State of Florida property rental and management companies had no response. Beware of Great Oceans Condos and Homes of New Smyrna Beach, FL!! A trip from hell based on the lies, games and poor standards of this property management company..
