I sent in my laser foot pedal to 1StopLaser on 3-8-25. ***** told me it would take about 2 weeks to fix and cost a few hundred dollars. Two months later he still had my foot pedal. I called every week to get an update. "Waiting for parts" was the answer given and the price would now be $1000. The foot pedal was working when I sent it. It had some frayed wires exposed on the electrical cord that I had patched with electrical tape. I felt it was time to replace the electrical cord for longevity sake. It seemed like a simple repair and he assured me it would be. A month later I received the bill. I paid since he would not send the pedal back without payment. He didn't take credit cards. My wire transfer (I could get my pedal sent back faster) was rejected by his bank. I paid by check. The foot pedal did not work when I received it. Now it was in worse condition than before the repair. He tried to convince me that my laser machine was faulty, but it wasnt. I sent the foot pedal back to re-evaluate. He said it worked fine but he never tested it on the proper machine that it was made for. He had electrical current through it, but on the actual machine, it didnt work. He said he would try to find an actual laser machine to test it on, but after almost another month he didnt find one. I told him to send the foot pedal back to me. I am now working with a new repair company that is evaluating it. The new repair company has sent me an interim foot pedal that works. Their fee for the repair and temporary use of the interim foot pedal is only $150 in total. I was inconvenienced for 3 months by 1StopLaser. The pedal was never fixed and I was gouged on the fee. Due to their procrastination to inflate the repair price, they have limited my ability to produce income since I could not use the laser machine while they held onto my foot pedal. Besides the $1000 fee for this "repair" it has also cost me the fees of a rejected wire transfer and two shippings. Requesting a refund.
