      Myakka Communications offers fiber internet in my area. The problem lies with their inability to give speeds that their packages claim. They charge for gigabyte service, but offer a fraction of the speeds. This has led to my business suffering as I work from home and depend on upload speeds to stream. I have called them for years, asking for solutions, and what ends up happening is that whatever gets patched, eventually unravels into even more issues than before. This wouldn't be an issue if we had other internet providers to choose from. As of now though, this area seems to be protected and zoned for Myakka Communications, resulting in us suffering with bad internet connections. My speeds which are suppose to be ***** MBPS download, and 1000 MBPS upload, are actually much lower. Download holds around 694 MBPS when hardwired, and only 52.5 MBPS upload. This is substantially lower, a mere 5% of the promised speed when it comes to the upload. I would like more internet providers in this area to allow us more options to choose from, so that our local businesses don't suffer.

      Myakka Communications takes all customer problems very seriously.  We work very diligently with the customer when they encounter Internet problems, whether they are problems within our control or problems between our network and the final Internet destination.  We try to help our customer define the problem being experienced even though we have no control over the solution.
      This particular problem is between our network and the Internet site to which customer is uploading his streaming program.  We have had conversations with the customer many times about the problem.
      This customer streams himself playing one of the very popular, interactive Internet games, to others for a fee.  The stream goes from our network to a service that sends the stream out to his many customers, Twitch.  The issue is not speed, although we tested his speed from his Wi-Fi router, for two weeks and continuously got speeds of *******+, on both upload and download speeds.  Only once did the upload speed fall below the *** 80% acceptable level and that was 79.  The latency chart also shows very low latency (3-6 vs 100 as *** acceptable). The chart is attached and represents the required process we must follow as mandated by the *** whenever there is a complaint.  His problem is not speed or latency, but the dropping of frames between Myakka Communications equipment and his final targeted site.
      We are working with the customer to determine if routing his streams differently will help his specific problem.  Maybe forcing it to go a slower route to get to the final destination.
      This customer is the only customer we have out of thousands, that professionally streams over the Internet and therefore the only customer to see this dropping of streams.
      We are continuing to try to help this customer resolve the problem between our service and the hosting company.
