    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Sun Shell Shades regarding our recent experience with their company. My fiance and I engaged Sun Shell Shades to provide roller shades for six windows in our new townhome. Unfortunately, our experience with the company has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating.We initially placed our order on December 10, 2023, after being assured by the sales representative that the process would be quick and efficient. We were misled into believing that the fabric for the shades would arrive within a few days from overseas, with a maximum wait time of 10 days. However, weeks passed without any communication or updates from the company.Despite our repeated attempts to contact the sales representative for an estimated installation date, we were met with silence. It was only after several weeks and persistent efforts that we were able to reach her, only to discover that she had gone on vacation without informing us. This lack of communication left our windows bare and without privacy for over a month in our new home.After finally managing to schedule the installation of three manual shades in early January, the remaining three motorized blinds were delayed due to purported issues with the fabric from *****. When the installation was finally completed, we discovered that one blind had a stain and two others were wrinkled. Despite raising our concerns, the company failed to address them promptly and effectively.Furthermore, the sales representative promised to rectify the situation by reordering the fabric and providing us with a free motor to replace one of the manual shades as compensation for the delay. However, the promised resolution has yet to materialize, and we continue to receive excuses and delays whenever we attempt to follow up with the company.We paid over $2,000 for a service that has been marred by misrepresentation, poor communication, and substandard workmanship. We are exhausted by the constant delays and unfulfilled promises, and we have lost faith in Sun Shell Shades ability to complete the job satisfactorily.We demand that Sun Shell Shades take immediate action to rectify the issues with our order, including replacing the stained blind and addressing the wrinkles in the others. Additionally, we expect the company to honor their promise of providing a free motor and install it in the agreed-upon location without further delay.We have no desire to continue working with Sun Shell Shades and urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate our complaint and take appropriate action to ensure that other consumers are not subjected to similar treatment.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
