    Ongoing harassment for months through constant emails and phone calls from account executive ******* ***** of Engage Your Business, LLC. I just want them to stop contacting me. They have called at 8 am, and I am still asleep some mornings. This constant barrage of emails and calls is nerve-wrecking, and no one should be subjected to this type of constant harassment.     We take all feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

    We have reviewed Ms. ***** complaint and have immediately removed her from all contact lists and active pipelines. There will be no further outreach from our company.

    We do want to clarify that our account executive reached out in good faith as part of standard follow-up procedures to gauge interest. At no point were we told that our services were unwanted or that contact should cease. Had we received such communication, we would have promptly and respectfully discontinued all follow-ups. We certainly do not intend to cause frustration or distress to anyone we contact.

    We understand that preferences vary, and had we been informed, this situation could have been avoided entirely. Going forward, we encourage anyone who no longer wishes to be contacted to let us know directly, so we can address the request immediately.


    We wish Ms. **** the best in her business endeavors.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I feel that this is a CYA (cover you a--) response from the company. If a person/company doesn't respond to your offer to provide them services, this shouldn't give you the right to  continuely badger them with constant emails  week after week after month after month trying to force them to respond.  I sometimes would often get several emails a week. This borders on harrassment.  No company should be subjected to this.  I feel this company has used this same response to other companies when they complain about the constant badgering from this business.

    Our representatives are trained to follow up with potential clients until they are clearly informed that the interest is not mutual or until we are asked to cease contact. This is a common and professional practice in business development.

    Once we became awarethrough this complaintthat you no longer wished to be contacted, we promptly honored that request. You were immediately removed from all outreach lists, and no further contact will be made.
    We respect your right to choose how to communicate, but we also stand by the professionalism of our team, who reached out with courtesy and persistence, not harassment. At this point, we consider the matter resolved and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

    I was looking at changing my website services to Engage your business. They told me they can provide me with everything my current web builder does at half the price. I spoke with **** who said if I pay $230 to sign up. The caveat was I needed the current web builder to release my web address. After speaking with the current builder I learned that Engage is not a very good company and that they have many complaints against them. I asked engage if they do retargeting ads to which their answer was no. I told them I decided to stay with my current company. I attempted to call and cancel and they said they dont do refunds. I am launching a complaint ask received no service and signed nothing to which they said they do t offer refunds. This is basically theft.i cancelled less than 48hrs after payment and they refuse to pay.

    Hi *******, your payment was not eligible for a refund because work had already begun on your project. We biegin work immediately upon signup- this is why we are able to get a first draft to clients within 1 week! While we never had access to your domain, this does not prohibit us from working on your website draft within our internal servers (which we would then publish on your domain once we gained access if the process were allowed to continue to plan). The amount of intensive labor hours required in the first couple days in order to build a site (especially when trying to complete within a week) far exceeds the value you paid, regardless of whether you stuck around to utilize it. We take a loss in this situation too. That being said we have made an exception, AND HAVE PROCESSED A REFUND FOR YOU.

    And you are correct that we do not lock you into a contract for any length of time. This is one of the benefits of our sefvice, one way we set ourselves apart from the competition, and is the reason we cancelled your cancellation immediately upon request, even though we were sorry to see you go.

    It sounds as though you believed every word of the slander about us from the company trying to retain you. We wish you would have done some research to see our hundreds of verified 5 star reviews and the lack of accused complaints about us. And we regret not having the chance to prove to you the incredible standard of quality and service we pride ourselves on prior to your cancellation. I encourage you to research the online reviews and complaints for Engage vs your other provider.

    I hired this company to maintain my 2 websites. They had over 2 months and never got it live. I told them to just cancel and I would take care of the site my self. A few weeks later them billed my card for another payment and they have not even done what they were supposed to be doing, I just want my account closed and my last payment they took returned.

    ****** originally signed up with us May 31, 2022 for one website. Our service is subscription based. Automatic payments every month. She made one payment then cancelled to remain with her current website provider (seemingly retained by them). We cancelled her payment and she was not charged again.

    She then signed up again September 9, 2022. This time she signed up for us to manage her two websites. We worked with her on developing these. We designed, Developed, optimized two websites for, completing revisions along the way. The problem was, we did not have access to her domain to publish these sites live when she approved of them. Her previous provider had her domains in their regitrar account. We gave her clear intructions on numerous occasions on how to request the transfer over to us (we are unable to authorize a domain transfer from her previous company on her behalf). She never did this. When she grew frustrated she decided to cancel.

    Nowhere in our terms does it state that payment starts after we puiblish the site live. In fact, she is told and is required to submit payment day 1- in order for us to begin development of her sites. It clearly states in our terms that payments are final and non-refiundable. She agreed to auto-pauyments with her card saved on file. Despite all this, we still provided her with a refund of her final payment, as requested, on November 17, 2022.
