  Date of Transaction was June 29, 2023 Paid: $580 Providing Tutoring They don't have proven way to tutor students with Specific Learning Disabilities.Never used services cause we found out they don't have certified tutors or certified to tutoring children with learning disabilities.They will only provide tutoring services we haven't used.So over the summer we were looking for a tutoring to catch our son up, he was diagnosed by the county with Specific Learning Disabilities, and we were looking for tutoring to help him with his learning disability. Amigos Tutoring said they would be able to help, so we had him evaluated by them. Amigos Tutoring coursed me to signing up that evening cause it was a better deal, once I got home and did the research I immediately regretted my decision. They didn't use the scientific proven way to teach children with Specific Learning Abilities to read and write, the only proven way is with ******************************* base practices, which they don't use. It was my fault for not doing the research ahead of time, but we were just trying to reach out and find someone to help our son. My husband and I emailed them during 4th of July that we would not need their services and want to cancel immediately. We never used their services other than the initial evaluation, which we paid for rightfully. We tried to call, when we didn't hear back by email and then we filled a dispute with the ******************** Amigos Tutoring did respond to the credit card company showing we signed a contract, so the credit card company closed the dispute and gave them their money back, and charge us again. After many angry phone calls we finally got a call back, they stated that our emails made it to the spam box. By email they stated they would love to refund us but they never got the funds back from the credit card company. I have been on the phone with the credit card company many times, reassuring us they paid them the money. Now they won't refund us.

  Friday January 27, I enrolled my daughter in a 36-hr SAT Advanced Prep tutoring class scheduled for 1 hour daily for 6 weeks. It had a cost of $25 per class plus a $100 enrollment fee. I paid $1030 total. The tutoring started on Monday 30. My daughter attended to the first 2 tutoring sessions but there were also other students doing different tutoring with the same tutors. As a result my daughter spent half the time waiting for the tutors to finish up with the other students so they could come help her with her concerns, meaning that she had direct SAT tutoring for maybe half the time we paid for, which was 1 hour not 20 or 30 minutes. The 2nd day (Jan 31) I emailed to customer service explaining the situation asking to remove my daughter from the program and requesting a partial refund except the enrollment fee and the cost of the classes. I also stated that no one informed us that the program included different tutoring at the same time, which reduced to less than half the actual time that my daughter had the tutor's attention. Feb 2: I met with a staff that told us he would ask the tutors to improve the quality of the tutoring so I asked my daughter to give it another try that same day. But the situation was even worse, there were 3 other different tutoring at the same time as my daughter' in the classroom. Feb 3: I emailed requesting to reschedule her to an SAT prep session only or to refund my money because that was a scam. Feb 4: I emailed again, and they suggested to reschedule a different time session with fewer students but not just for SAT's. No one ever mentioned that there would be different types of tutoring at the same time, they just failed to mention this important fact and it was neither on their website nor in the documentation provided. If I had known, I would've never enrolled my daughter in the program. The services provided in the first 2 out of 36 paid sessions do not match the described services that we purchased or were looking to receive.
