I made a booking with Amerijet International to have a sewing machine shipped to ******** at the end of August 2022. In the first week of September when I made an inquiry on my shipment I was told that it was never received in ******* which is a hub for the transport of the item to ********. The item was either loss or stolen from the Drop Station. I filed a claim with Amerijet International in ***** and they said to me it was not there issue as it was never delivered to them. I had to speak with the shipping or truck company. I had no agreement with this trucking company but yet they sent me a cheque for 50 dollars to cover the cost of my ****** loss. The final outcome on this matter by Amerijet International is that based on ** Federal Laws and a shipment contract as on the back of an airway bill that without cargo insurance ***** is all I will get based on weight. This whole process has been a scam and as their limited liability memo states I believe that my item went missing because of gross negligence and I should get back my money. The sad thing is that each time you try to reach someone in claims or send emails you get back no response. I need them to pay me or find my item. They have procedures for tracking shipments and I have not seen any proof that this was done.
