    On November 23, 2024, I met with *** Cotrona the owner of The Handyman Joe Pro Business in ************ at my condominium at *******************************************************************************************. The purpose of the meeting was to establish his services to repair baseboards, crown molding, and paint that had experienced some damage related to humidity. In the process of evaluating my condominium unit, he also found an area of painted metallic window trim/fascia in the guest bedroom that had pulled away from the window frame. He sent me a picture of this on November 24, 2024. We agreed that he would also repair this area. The repair that was done turned out to be inadequate. He attempted to use epoxy to get the bent piece of metallic trim to hold down, and secured it with some tape until it cured. I directly inspected this area on December 7, 2024 and asked him about the tape that was still present there. He explained that he would come back and remove it. He sent me a text on December 11, 2024 indicating that all the work had been completed. He sent me an invoice on 12/13/2024, which documented all of the work that was done, including repair of the fascia of the spare room window. I sent out a check in payment for the full amount on the invoice which totaled $9987 on 12/16/2024. It was not broken down individually in the invoice the cost of repairing the window versus the other repairs. When I went back to the condominium on 12/23/2024, I noted that the repair did not hold and the trim had pulled away again from the window frame. Since that time, I have placed multiple phone calls to him, sent texts, and emails, which I have retained for my records. He told me via text on several occasions that he would complete the work. He has failed to complete the work. Based on the total cost of all of the work that he did, I estimate the window repair to be valued at $400. I would like a refund, or for him to pay for someone else to complete the work.
