      To start off I wanted to let you know that we have used this company in the past, in November we got a new heater for her pool which was fabulous The person installing it was very friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to use GPS pools for our resurfacing after the first of the year. I received a quote from them which I was happy with.To move forward with the resurfacing scheduling we were to get a 50% deposit. I ran over with the check immediately after the first of the year. I was been told that ******* their project manager on these projects would be in contact with me. After chatting with *******, several times, and reviewing what they would be doing I thought we were on the same page. Resurfacing, mosaics and pool light. I knew you would be starting work the first week of February. After contacting *******, several times to get on the calendar, we had many phone calls and many texts to confirm. He then said they would have to start work on Wednesday February 8th and finish up on Saturday February 11th. At no point did ******* tell me the guys that would be coming on Saturday would not be in contact with him, he also did not tell me that he would not be reachable. Honestly, I didnt think anything of it because he is the project manager. I thought he would be in contact the entire time. Anyways. On Saturday February 11th there were **** guys here laying my mosaics and plaster.Around noon I stepped outside because I saw the gentleman that was here on Wednesday, the one that prepped the pool for Saturday. I mentioned to him that I didnt like how the deep end wall came to a point, and he reassured me that it would be smooth and would not look this way in the end. Around 3pm I noticed NO ONE was in the back anymore so I stepped out to check. The first thing I noticed was my crab on the step in the deep end was missing 2 legs. They had covered the up with plaster. (Goodness there were so many guy here working and no one noticed) With a baby on my hip I ran out into the front yard stopping the workers as they were loading up. I said my crab is missing legsThe guy said, OK let me come look Ive been noticed them bringing out tools and scraping at my crab so you could see the legs. Now the step is not smooth where it meets the wall. You can feel the indent where they removed plaster so you could see the legs of my crab. They didnt tell me when they were done again, they just packed up their stuff and left.I left a few voicemails and text messages for ******* at this time and did not hear anything back. Again, I had no idea he would be unreachable during this process. I then grabbed the hose, and started to fill the pool as instructed by *******. Monday morning I heard from ******* saying he would be over that day to start up the pool. Then in afternoon I heard from ******** he said he was on his way over. I replied back via text asking if we would be discussing the crab. His response back was whats wrong with the crab?He didnt call me early in the morning to say that he was sorry he was disconnected all weekend or if there was an emergency? He didnt say anything about the miss phone calls or missed messages from me. When he showed up I told him my concerns with the pool wall and the crab and how it turned out. He was like ok I think it looks fine. Then he said am I not allowed to take the weekend off? I was so shocked he would not have mentioned this. The point is I was NOT happy with the way it looked. Then I asked why my light was not fixed. He said I mentioned that repair too late. I said no we texted about it January 21st. WOW OK. So basically we are now going back and forth and not on the same page?I waited a week. I called the store and spoke with **** which turned into me crying on the phone because Im so frustrated why am I having to go over everything 3 to 4 times. Why after I pay you are you not willing to make the situation right? I told **** on the phone that I would like to speak with ****** the owner the person that gave me the quote. The person that I feel comfortable with looking at my pool, and telling me whats wrong and his opinion. She immediately got off the phone with me and told me that ****** and her we talk.Literally, five minutes went by and I got a text from ******* telling me that he was going to come over. He said that I called the shop and said there was an issue. I then explained to ******* that he already knew what the issues were, and hes not doing anything about it. Im not one for confrontation, when ******* came over he basically told me that theres no perfect pool? That my pool looks fine. He didnt address the issues or concerns that I had at all.Ive sent sent an email to their office, but this time added that I have giant blue discolored spots at the bottom of the pool. They FINALLY gave me ******* phone number. Which Ive left numerous text messages and phone calls this last month. I have not heard anything back. Not even a response to my text. I was instructed to take pictures and send them to ****** via text. I have not heard anything back.Where do I even go from here?I feel like I was supposed to be micromanaging even though there was a project manager. Seems like the company I hired to do this work was actually using an outside source.
