On July 22, 2025, I hired a moving company called Integrity 1st moving and labor service owned by ***** to deliver my household items to my condo for $1,650, plus $900 for unpacking. His crew claimed my couch would not fit in the elevator and could not be brought into my condo ion 6th floor. ***** insisted it was impossible and offered to place it in his storage for $300/month, which I felt forced to accept. For a month I requested measurements so I could sell or assess and resolve the issue, but ***** refused. Eventually, I hired another moving company ($400) and scheduled a crane ($770). When the second movers arrived, they proved the couch fit through the elevator and into my condo with no problem.Because of this companys negligence and refusal to cooperate, I incurred $1,440 in unnecessary expenses (storage, movers, crane). I request reimbursement and an investigation into their deceptive and unprofessional practices.I believe the service provided constituted a significant corruption of services and charges, potentially exploiting me as an elderly consumer.

    Here's a rewritten version:

    Dear ****** and Behrokh,

I'm disappointed to hear you're unhappy with our services. It's worth noting that you were pleased with our team when we stored your belongings months ago, and you even rehired us to relocate them to your new home. During the move, everything went smoothly except for the couch not fitting in the elevator on the 6th floor. We only had access to the right elevator, which wasn't large enough. I offered to store the couch for you until you decided what to do with it, and I even paid my team extra to accommodate this.

When you requested measurements of the couch while it was in storage, I couldn't grant your request quickly due to its location among other furniture. On the day you wanted to pick up the couch, I went out of my way to meet you at 6:30 am. However, the movers you hired used a different elevator, which I believe was larger.

Regarding the unpacking, we agreed on a price of $900 after initially quoting $1200. This included debris removal. Unfortunately, it seems we didn't meet your expectations. We've had thousands of satisfied customers over the years, but sometimes we can't meet everyone's needs.

    Best regards,
    ***** ******* owner of Integrity 1st moving]

I am rejecting this response because: He is expressing opinions and makes incorrect comments on issues that are not related to the conflict. The two elevators are exact the same size; I have documents proving that. He is ignoring the fact that his team negligence and lack of effort caused me stressfull time for one month , plus all the monetary loss. I have video recording of them loading the elevator, on July 22 and August 22nd.

    Sincerely,

We understand your concerns and are willing to work towards a resolution. As previously discussed, we're open to compensating you $300, which is the amount you paid for transporting and storing the sofa. Before moving forward, we wanted to verify that the elevator size was the issue, as the movers you hired used a different one. Upon investigation, we found that the elevator we used was out of order at the time. It's possible that other moving companies might use different techniques, such as pushing the couch against the ceiling, which could increase the risk of damage. Our approach prioritizes caution to avoid damaging the elevator, which could result in costly repairs.

If you're willing to accept the $300 compensation to resolve the matter, please let us know, and we can proceed with the payment.

I am rejecting this response because: As I had explained my original complaint, I have encountered other expenses caused by his actions. I am asking for full amount stated in my complaint.
