    We rented a home from Mike Norman Realty from November *****, 2022. The home was rented at a rate of appx $900 per night. We rented this home to have our Thanksgiving Day celebration as our home in ********** was devastated by Hurricane ***. The home was in an amazing location and lovely but the day before Thanksgiving the air conditioner had stopped working and temperatures had reached over 80 degrees in the home. We called the 24 hour number given by Mike Norman Realty and did not have our call returned until the next day. My call was returned by ****** and he told us that they have a company that would be coming out to do the repair that day. After many phone calls and no responses I received a text message from ****** saying that he thinks that the repair company is closed and he would not be able to get a hold of them. I asked multiple times for a manager or someone in charge as the temperatures in the home were exceeding 88 degrees, ****** said that no one was available to speak to me. The night my family slept outside in the screened in porch as it was to hot to sleep in the home. On Friday morning I went to the **** Norman office but it was closed so I reached out to the emergency number at least a dozen times and tried calling ****** but he told me he was not working and was not sure who could get back to us about the repair and when. At 1pm on Friday ****** texted that a repair company was on its way and would be there in 45 minutes. One hour later no one had shown up for the repair and I was back to trying to reach the company or a representative with no avail. At 4 pm an repair company showed up and said the unit was overheating and needed more freon. They added the freon and the unit was working. At 7pm the unit had died again and was not working. We checked out early and went to stay in a hotel. Mike Norman Realty has refused to refund our deposit and refused to refund us for part of our stay.
