My two girls took Winter camp with Equestrian Quest Dec 20-24. They had a great time, although instructor was late to arrive outside to supervise the children every day, resulting in myself and/or my husband being late for work each day We are not seeking any resolution for this particular session but adding the information for completeness. I signed my girls signed up for summer camp for Weeks May 30-Jun 3, 2022 and Jun 6-Jun 10, 2022 and I've prepaid $700 via check. I did the registration in January 2022 for summer camp (with confirmation email and record check processing my account), In February, we started horse lessons at Equestrian Quest. We purchased a set of lessons for both girls (4 lessons for both of them, 1.5 hours per lesson for $400). We are having issues with the instructor showing up to these lessons. First lesson- on time (Feb 4 at 5 pm). I paid cash at this lesson - $400 paid in full. Second lesson - no show for the instructor (Feb 6 at 10 am). My husband waited almost an hour with the girls. Second lesson (try #2) - Sunday Feb 20 at 1 pm. Instructor arrived but encouraged trail ride instead of lessons. Third lesson - Monday Feb 21 (school holiday) at noon, no show for the instructor. I wasn't the only one waiting for the instructor. Another family was waiting as well. We feed the horses. About 20 min after the scheduled start time, an older gentlemen came outside from the home attached to the barn and indicated 'Amanda will be out soon'. Another 20 minutes passed, the older gentleman was yelling at an opened 2nd floor window 'Amanda!'. Shortly after, he gets in his car and drives away, leaving the property. I called Amanda. No answer. At one o'clock, I leave. The other family was still there. This is how I spent my vacation day.... The kids were disappointed and sad... again. Since this time, I've requested reimbursement for unfulfilled services with no response.
