    I was searching ******** Marketplace for a shipping container when I came across an ad from TokS Containers. After communicating with the *** I received an estimate and then an invoice from them. Doing my due diligence, I googled the company and found a website. I also looked on BBB and nothing came up there. I called the number on the invoice and was told by the *** who answered the phone the gentleman I was dealing with was the *** for my area. In the ad it states nothing about needing any money down or paying for additional expenses, however after I got the invoice they did ask for 20% down. I felt the company was legitimate and sent the 20% via ****** through a ***** because I do not have ******. They request you select Friends and Family when sending the money otherwise there is a hold place on the money. Little did I know by sending it that way I have no recourse through ****** to get my money back. After sending the 20% they then said I needed to pay in full before they could deliver my container along with permit fees and other additional fees. I got the guy to call me and after discussing this with them I began to get the feeling I was being scammed so I asked him to refund my money, and he stated he needed to talk to his boss/home office. (The invoice states money back guaranteed within 30 days) I also sent a text message asking for my money back. As of right now, I have not received my container, and they are not answering my calls or responding to my text messages. I am enclosing the estimate, invoice and what I paid via ******. If you need anything else, please let me know.

    Thank you for your inquiry regarding the cancellation of your shipping container order and the associated delay in processing your refund.

    We acknowledge the concerns expressed by the customer and appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity on this matter. Following the cancellation of this order, our team has made several attempts to reach the customer via both phone and email to confirm the cancellation details and initiate the refund process. Regrettably, we have not received a response to our outreach efforts.

    To proceed with the refund securely, we require confirmation of essential information. In the absence of this confirmation, we are unable to advance the refund in accordance with our standard policy.

    As of this date, we have not received any communication from the customer, either through email or in response to our multiple telephone calls. Furthermore, we have not been contacted regarding the cancellation of the order or the refund request.

    I am rejecting this response because: You have NOT attempted to reach me by email or by phone.  I haven't received any correspondence from you since I was told by your representative he would be speaking to his manager about issuing a credit and then ghosting me.  I would like refund in full sent by cashiers check to my address below in the next 10 days.  I am also including my phone number so you can call that as well if you have any questions.

    Regarding the complaint from ****, I have attached several screenshots with corresponding dates that illustrate the numerous attempts we have made to contact him, all of which have gone unanswered.

    At this point, it is no longer our responsibility, as we have diligently tried to reach the customer without receiving any response.

    In accordance with the payment terms outlined on our website, any requests for refunds must be directed to our refunds and returns department. To date, we have not received any such requests, nor has the customer made an effort to call our toll-free number to speak with a sales representative regarding this issue.

    I trust this clarification provides a better understanding of our position on this matter.
