On Nov. 27, 2024 I went to Citrus Diagnostic Center (***) for a test. I was told, upon arrival, that ******** did not cover this test. I paid $175.00, the cost of the test. I called my GP, who had ordered the test, and was given another "code" to have *** use so that this would be covered by ********. When I called *** I was told "We do not submit this paperwork to ******** because they only pay $10.00 and it is not worth our time."In mid February. 2025 I received my ******** statement which showed a payment to *** for $175.00. After many attempts I was able to speak to someone in the *** billing office. They acknowledged owing me $175.00 and said that they would mail me a check. After over 2 months of not receiving a check I tried calling the billing office. I left many messages and tried calling many times hoping to get a person to pick up and not a machine. After months of being put off and no check, on July ******, I went to the office of *** and asked to meet with someone in billing. The receptionist did get someone to come out. It was acknowledged that this $175.00 was owed to me and that they would mail it to me in a few weeks. I told them that was unacceptable and that I would wait for the check. I did receive my ******** this is not really about money it is about lying, no return or acknowledgement of calls and what I truly believe is fraud. I feel the public needs to be aware of what is going on. I rarely look at my ******** statement. If I had not I believe *** never would had returned my money and that they would have been paid twice for this test.

My PCP issued an order for some imaging which I had done at Citrus Diagnostic Center on 01/06/2025. On 05/24/2025 I received a bill for $56.83. The bill indicated that *** had received payment from my primary insurance and secondary insurance but contained no information about my third insurance coverage which is Tricare for Life. When I questioned a billing representative of *** I was told that my copay had not been met for 2025 so *** was billing me for the copay amount. I called Tricare for Life and explained what *** had done and was told that *** had not filed a claim with them and said I did not have a copay responsibility either. *** should be required to file a claim with Tricare for Life for $56.83.
