      I had a ct scan done at Manatee Diagnostic Center on 2/17/2025. On August 12, 2025 I received a bill for $1695.00. My insurance company processed the billing of the scan and denied it due to no authorization obtained by Manatee Diagnostic. The explanation of benefits from **** states I owe nothing for the test. On 8/12/25 I called the customer service number on the bill and left a message. I never received a return call. On 8/19/25 @12:55 I called again and left another message. I also sent an email to the email address on the bill. At 2 pm I was called back by *****. She stated they billed with the wrong diagnostic code and they would resubmit the claim. I received another bill for the same amount dated 9/1/25. **** never received a new claim per the website.Manatee Diagnostic is in network with my BCBS plan and therefore must follow how this claim is processed. If they failed to get a preauthorization then the balance is contractually adjusted off, not billed to the patient.I am requesting that Manatee Diagnostic adjust off this balance and stop coming after me for the balance.I will gladly pay the $14 that my insurance stated was my responsibility on the *** I have attached.

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The patient balance $1695 will be adjusted as appeal period has exceeded.  The patient will owe $14 for services rendered.  Customer notified.
