    I have rented this place through expedia from January 13 2023 to February 10 2023. I need to extend for 4 more weeks. Dealed directly with the owner that sent me a quote for $240 per night. I booked 36 hours later.They manage to charge me $273.79 a night. Also, 3 days after I rebooked the county has shut off the water for non payment! I paid for these extra 4 weeks $ *******. Booking reservation ***********. This is and upcomming stay from February 10th until March 10th

    Reservation and Stay is not with Manatee Palms, please see attachment she has included, it is Manatee Palms Rental. Manatee Palms is a hotel/BnB in *********, ** and Manatee Palms Rental is Vacation Rental; located in **************, **. These are two separate entities. Please make sure you are addressing them correctly.

     

    We are responding as Manatee Palms ********************* made reservation through Expedia for 4 weeks of stay at Manatee Palms Rental. She subsequently, inquired about 4 more weeks of stay, the request was received on Sunday. She was told we could make the reservation at that time by her providing the card information at that time. She refused and said that she had to talk to her contractor. As result she passed on booking at that time. We had other renters which rented the property for 20 days at 285 per night plus taxes and fees.

    ***, contacted us on Wed wanting to book. Our system will automatically adjusts the rate and it was adjusted to 285 per night. We discounted the rate to 267 per night plus taxes. This was 19 lower than our rate for Feb. We currently are offering rate of 350 per night for the same house. We also told her we had to relocate the other guest which would have created additional costs for us. She asked for lower rate and we declined to lower her rate.

    Additionally, we have considerable issues as Ms ********* is refusing to allow owner to clean the property. Her statement is very concerning; "I wash the sheet and my dishes once a week, what else is it to do". We have informed her that Toilet, floors, front entry, back porch, dusting tables and showers, microwave, oven, stove top and etc. She has a dog. We are worried that after one month of staying and refusing to clean it will be a mess. We have made several attempts to access and clean the property and she is not cooperating. This is 100% required. She also made offensive comments when we made the reservation as to cleaning charges that is applied on all vacation rental homes. To further that, she refers as to the house belonging to *************; our client, as my house and my things.

    We have now cancelled her reservation and refunded her money minus cancellation charges. She is also asked to leave as she refused to allow us to clean the property.
