    Wrote a check for $4,433.38 to *********************** as a deposit on a new vinyl fence on 7-13-23. Contractor *********************** assured me that the fencing would be bought through a reputable fencing manufacture and not big box store i.e. *********** The fence was to be installed on Wednesday, 7-19-23. On Monday, 7/17/23 I was informed the work could not start until Thursday, 7/20/23. On Wed, 7/19/23 the contractor confirmed by phone that he would be at my house early on 7/20/23 to put in the new fence. On Thursday, 7/20/23. the contractor was a no show. I tried calling and no answer. Voice mail was full so no way to leave a message. At 5:30 I sent an email requesting my deposit back for breach of contract. On Friday, 7/21/213 I got several text messages from the contractor stating he had gotten in a terrible accident on Tuesday, 7/18/23 so he would not be able to work until Tues, 7/25/23. Very strange since I had talked to him on Wednesday and he assured he would be putting in my new fence on Thursday. He is refusing to refund my deposit because he claims he already bought the fencing and he can not use it on another job or return it. He is unable to come up with any receipts or proof of purchasing the fencing. I have had other fence contractors look at his proposal and they say the fencing he wanted to use is pre-fab panels with plastic clips connecting to the posts that is sold at *********** I have asked in writing 3 times for a refund and he refuses.

    I hired this company to build an rv shelter and finish installing floors in my travel trailer. He got 3/4 of the payment, approximately $18,000 and didn't even do an 1/8th of the work. Suppose to be done by april 1st. I had to hire someone bew jine 15th because of his unreliability and shady work. He bought the wrong lumbar for the shelter, even though he charged for the right stuff. it was unstable and had to be demolished for safety reasons. He bailed on the job and kept making excuses why he couldn't finish and why he needed more $$. He left the site a mess and they shoved trash under the deck before they sealed it. He has all the remaining materials I bought as well. Super shady guy. His name is ***********************.
