Hired ********************* to do a tile job for our new bathroom In an addition project. Was referred by his daughter in a moms group. 1st impression he was a likable person and had a regard for professionalism then it quickly declined. 1st day on job was putting redguard waterproofing on durarock installed by others. Within minutes His helper was off balance falling over , it seemed as if he was possibly intoxicated from night before. The joints were not sealed and mesh tape was not used, therefore redguard was not really beneficial.There was also several other warning signs of poor character, such as grunting and cussing while working while wife and kids were home. The main reason for complaint is the shower floor was improperly done, tile not stuck, some set with grout and lots of pitch issues. TILE COULD BE PULLED UP BY HAND- 2 days after they were installed! ASKED *** FOR ****** refund (if *******) to help pay for the cost of materials and labor to repair what we were left. He said he would then never followed through. The tile and material wasted was ****** alone and another ******* for another tile guy to chip mud bed, re slope and install new tile. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS. WHAT A MESS! I wouldnt let this guy do a tile job for me even if it was free.
