      Bought a baseball that was advertised as being game used & more importantly game used by the New York Yankee baseball player ****************. The ball was also advertised as being autographed by Judge with a special inscription in addition to his signature. The ball arrived however the documentation was clear that this ball was not used by **************** nor was is even game-used, it was only 'game ready' whatever that means. The only thing accurate was it was autographed. This was false advertising on multiple levels. When I notified this guy from Dutch Auction Shop he took ZERO responsibility & kept blaming anyone else he could but said he would ship the correct baseball. Well I bought this baseball over 6 months ago & returned it back in Jan & have reached out numerous times & this guy '*****' has not sent me the correct merchandise, has not attempted to make the situation right nor has returned my money. I had to go so far as to file a chargeback with my credit card company to get my money back but I want to make the BBB aware that this is a fraudulent *************** should be investigated.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,

      I am writing in response to the complaint filed by ************** regarding his purchase of a baseball from our company. I would like to provide a detailed explanation of the situation and the steps we have taken to address his concerns.

      ************** purchased a baseball that was described as "marked as used in an **************** at bat." However, upon receiving the item, he discovered that the baseball was actually "marked for use in an **************** at bat." While there was no intentional misleading or deception involved, we understand that this distinction was important to ***************

      Upon contacting us with his concern, we promptly responded to ************** and acknowledged his disappointment. He requested an exchange for a baseball that was "marked as used in an **************** at bat." In compliance with his request, he returned the baseball to us, and we immediately sent it to our vendor for review and exchange.

      Regrettably, our vendor experienced many delays in the process, which resulted in a significant amount of time passing before a thorough examination of their inventory and consultations with partners could be completed. Despite their efforts, they were unable to locate a different baseball that met ****************** specific requirements.

      Coincidentally, just last week, we received the original baseball back from our vendor. We took the opportunity to send it back to ************** along with a detailed note explaining the situation in full. Additionally, we have offered to him a partial refund of $300 to compensate for any inconvenience caused. We believe this baseball holds significant historical value as a unique piece of *** history, making it an appealing item for the most discerning collectors.

      Throughout this process, we have maintained open lines of communication with **************, responding promptly to all his emails and phone calls. We have also actively followed up with our vendor to stay updated on the progress of the exchange request. While we acknowledge that the duration of this resolution has been excessive, we are disappointed that ************** filed a complaint without confirming the status of his requested actions.

      We hope that by providing a comprehensive account of events, it is evident that ************** has been in communication with our company and we have made efforts to address his concerns by attempting to replace the baseball with an alternate baseball that suits his tastes. The original baseball that he purchased has been returned to him via **** Express Mail and he has been offered a partial refund while keeping the baseball. Additionally, we provided the option for a full refund if he chooses to return the baseball to us.

      We value our customers' satisfaction and always strive to provide exceptional service. We regret any frustration ************** has experienced, and we appreciate the opportunity to resolve this matter. Please consider this note as our official response to the complaint, and if you require any further information or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

      I am rejecting this response because: This guy is the biggest lair & ***** I have ever dealt with in my life.  The only communication is from me, nothing from Rothschild.  I do not want anything from this *****, I only want my money back.  If I wanted this unused baseball I wouldn't have sent it back originally.  This guy NEVER reached out to me to offer any $300 compensation or ask if I wanted this baseball so let me be clear here:  I don't want this falsely advertised baseball or anything from this fraudulent company.  I only want a full refund!
