    One Step Forward Construction came highly recommended for my major renovation project of my lakefront home and they did not disappoint. Contractor Dean Abernathy and all of the folks he uses, from the architect and designer to the various tradesmen, are top notch and totally trustworthy. Dean's word is his bond, and he is incredibly reliable, accessible and prompt, making my project a top priority during the several month project. He was on-sight regularly, keeping all of his subs on track--painters, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, drywallers, wallpaper installers, etc. and often spotted issues I had not even noticed. He has an unparalleled wealth of construction knowledge having built houses from scratch and handling a multitude of interior and exterior renovations. Strangers stop to exclaim about the quality of the workmanship and the new-found beauty of my home. I could not be more pleased.
