I contracted Mulligan’s Pointe for services for my wife’s 70th Birthday celebration.
The contract for the “Dining Package” Invoice Number INV-23-264 and paid in full on 6-13-25 for $3267.00 which included the 21% service charge of 472.50
The contract states access to room from 2pm – 7pm along with the list of food items catered for ~70 guests. Aside from this I paid for an open bar.
The venue consisted of three (3) large rooms, one with the open bar and the other two large rooms were for food and dining.
Mulligan’s Pointe did not meet their obligations defined by the contract.
    1. The rooms were not ready or available at the time promised (2-7pm)
    a. I along with a server had to move furniture in place and I had to clean up debris from the floor as the guests began to arrive.
    b. My wife and I helped to set tables and chairs in the large main rooms prior to guests arriving.
    2. Food was not ready in the main dining rooms until about 4pm.
    3. There were no plates or silverware on the tables.
    4. No water glasses or water pitcher on some tables, no server came around to serve water to guests.
    5. Many food items listed on the contract were not provided and of the items provided were not sufficient for the guests attending.
    a. Listed but not provided, Charcuterie, Crudites Cups/ Desserts French silk pie /Italian lemon cake, salads
    6. Of the food items provided many were not replenished as promised.
    7. There appeared to be no one in charge throughout the event for direction setting for tasks and for communication to the customer, when we voiced our concerns and had questions no one knew who was responsible.
I have met with the “new” manager more than five times for resolution through July and August.
He has become a middleman between me and the owner due to staff changes to the management that was in place at the time of the event.
The owner has offered $300 dollars to compensate us and I have communicated that is not satisfactory.
