I was targeted an ad on facebook claiming to help with ADHD and procrastination so I took a quiz. The website called todayistheday.app looked legitimate and I figured I’d give them a month trial. After agreeing to pay about $24 for a month program with Apple Pay, they prompted me with additional add-ons that I said not interested in (personal coach, and pamphlets, etc) then one final add-on was an upgrade to a lifetime subscription. It proceeded to show a ton of “free” things that come with the subscription. It scrolled on and on about a bunch of the “free” things so I was intrigued. At the bottom is said “claim your unlimited bundle”. In my thought process I assumed they would entice me with a bunch of free things then I would click the button and be presented with a price that I was already sure I wouldn’t want to pay anyway but I was curious to see what they thought a lifetime subscription was worth. As soon as I clicked the button, I never was prompted with a purchase prompt presenting a price it just instantly said thank you for your purchase and charged me over $200! I couldn’t believe it, I never consented to purchase this bundle, it felt extremely predatory and dishonest. I instantly requested a refund for both the month I purchased and the lifetime subscription because if this is how you do business then I was afraid I was already too late into a scam. This just happened about an hour ago and i am awaiting a response and will be contacting my bank as soon as I can tomorrow. I just fear they are targeting people who are already vulnerable and looking for a change. It will cause some people to sink further into depressive states. Must be stopped. Also I must note, there is no order receipt provided in my email so I have no tracking number to provide. I also found a lot of other people online who said the same happened to them. The screenshot I added states that they claim to be transparent about their charges which they definitely were not. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I believe that upon signing up for parentingleader.com after seeing their Instagram page for parenting tips, I initiated a one-time payment. However, I never received any information about my account. Since then, they have repeatedly tried to charge me, and I thought this would be a quick fix by simply asking them to cancel the subscription.
After reaching out multiple times, they continue to tell me they cannot find an account with my information. I even sent them screenshots of the repeated attempted charges and asked them to verify whether it was indeed them charging my card, but they do not respond. It's as if I am receiving an automated reply with the same message over and over.
I changed my card number in hopes that this would stop the charges, but my card vendor informed me that changing the numbers won't prevent them from attempting to charge my account, as they charge the account itself. The only way to stop this is by canceling the subscription.
After conducting some research on this company, I found many threads in which many other parents who subscribed are experiencing similar issues, facing ongoing charges and attempted charges without being able to cancel and no one to contact. Although I have blocked them from charging, it has now been months, and they continue to attempt to charge me. I am at a loss for what to do at this point.
in the photos you will see The place charging me matches their information, how they are unable to find my account does not make any sense... how could they be charging me with no information.Initial Complaint

On March 3rd I ordered a 1 month plan for cosmic match app for $19.99. I didn’t like it so I emailed them. They didn’t respond until my 4th email wanting to cancel subscription. They said it was cancelled, yet on March 29th I was charged $54.96! I’ve been emailing them telling them I want my money back and I was wrongly charged after they said it was cancelled. I have yet to get a response1Initial Complaint

I was served an advertisement on my Facebook/Instagram for a service called MellowFlow for an app and accountability coaching. After a month, I cancelled the subscription to the app and asked about coaching for further information. They never responded to 3 emails and have tried to charge me over 20+ times. Even though I cancelled the credit card and had it reissued, for some reason Visa sent them the new numbers. I did not agree to this charge and want to ensure they delete my information and never charge me again. Luckily my bank has declined their multiple attempts so I don’t need a refund. I need them to stop attempting to charge me and verify this in writing.Initial Complaint

I signed up for a free trial and at the end of the trial I was charged for January and February. When I contacted the company to cancel my subscription I asked about a refund for the months of January and February when I didn't even open the app to use it, let alone know there was a reoccurring charge for a membership. They said they do not give refunds after the initial charge has gone through. I feel they should give refunds as the monthly fee is exceptionally high and it's not easy to cancel the subscription. There isn't an option to do it on the app, on the login page, etc. you have to email them to cancel it.Initial Complaint

I bought a one month trial from this company to see their “Parenting Leader” app. I paid $21.99 for this. I got no receipt, the app makes it impossible to see what email is used in their account. I used it one day- didn’t like it, figured it would expire.
Apparently their services roll into automatic $62/month charges- with NO email confirmation and no way to cancel. The only way to cancel is by emailing the company, and then when you do that they say they have never heard of you. They advertise it’s easy to try and cancel this service, but it’s not. What an awful experience.Initial Complaint

I bought a mellow flow subscription in November of last year. I used it for about a week or so. It didn't help change my habits or help with adhd issues. Then on 2/25/25, I was charged $132 for a renewal fee. I never received an email or text stating that this renewal was upcoming. I would have canceled before that date if I had known. It's a scam business preying on people in need. This needs to stop. I asked multiple times for my money back since they didn't warn me about the renewal. They refused. Please help me. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 1 month 28 day no yelling challenge for 21.99. I was then charged a subscription fee of $63.74. To which I immediately requested a refund and cancellation of the subscription as I never signed up for a subscription. They said they would offer 50%. I told them that was unacceptable and I will be disputing the charge.Initial Complaint

In June, I signed up for an online app called Mellow Flow, which is marketed to help with mental health and procrastination issues. I agreed to pay $29.99 for the first month, with the subscription increasing to $59.98/month afterward. However, I was instead charged $93.57.
On July 9th, after noticing the incorrect charges, I contacted the company to cancel my subscription. Despite this, the app continued to charge me in the subsequent months (see bank statement, with amounts and date).
I only realized the issue in January and immediately tried multiple ways to cancel my account. I went to their website to cancel the subscription, and I also emailed them as instructed in their FAQ (to the same email address I had contacted previously). This time, I received a response, but for the past 10 days, I’ve been stuck in a frustrating loop of emails, providing all requested information, only to be met with repetitive replies. They have yet to confirm the cancellation or refund the unauthorized charges (please see attached email exchanges). At this point, it feels like I’m speaking with a bot rather than a real person.
Additionally, the app has no proper login page available via a standard web search. Without a specific link, it’s impossible to access my account, further complicating my ability to verify or manage my subscription status.
I hope the BBB team can assist me with my request. Ideally, I would like a refund of all unauthorized charges, but at the very least, I need confirmation that my subscription has been fully canceled. I also want to highlight that this issue isn’t isolated—there are numerous online reviews describing similar situations. The app’s unclear billing practices, lack of a proper login page, and unresponsive customer service make it far too easy for users to get trapped in unauthorized charges with no resolution. One reviewer mentioned filing a BBB complaint, so I’m joining forces to ensure transparency and accountability from this company.
