    This is a complaint and a caution for future buyers. I have a 2016 Honda HRV. In 2020 I moved to a new subdivision. I noticed that none of the streets in the subdivision were included in the GPS that came with the car. The subdivision was built in 2019. So, okay, I get it: A 2016 car would not have 2019 streets in the GPS. It took me until June of 2022 to decide to upgrade the GPS in the car. I contacted Honda who referred me to HERE for an updated GPS map. I emailed HERE asking specifically if my street (and others) were included in the update. They responded that they couldn't tell me if specific streets had been upgraded. Okay, so I bought the upgrade thinking that three years would be enough time for my street to have been included. Got the flash drive and instructions. No problems loading the upgrade into the car. (Instructions were thorough and easy to follow.) But -- and you know where this is going -- my subdivisions streets are not included in the upgrade. I emailed HERE and asked why, after three years, these streets were not included in the upgrade. They replied to the effect that "our surveyors can't survey every street." I inquired about a partial refund, offering to send the flash drive back. They replied that there would be no refund, and that the flash drive had already been used. So, very disappointed. The only reason I got the upgrade was to have my street (and the other streets) on the map. Word of warning -- word of caution. Don't get any upgrades from HERE if you want specific new streets to be included. You won't know until you do it. And you may be disappointed. And out $116.

    I purchases a 2017 navigation update for my Infiniti QX80 in July of 2020. Two weeks ago I had to replace my navigation system in my QX80, due to an equipment malfunction . I contacted HERE to get a new access code for my software update giving them the information showing them that the software was going to be installed in the original car VIN number and the with the new Product ID. They have refused to issue a new installation code because the software is over two years old. I have no control over the fact that the original navigation system failed and I can not understand why I can not get an access code for a software I paid for! It's going into the original car, just a new unit because of a malfunction of the old unit. No where in my purchase receipt does it state that after two years I no longer can get an access code. I would never recommend anyone doing business with them after this experience.
