    On March 7, 2025, I signed a contract with this venue reserving the entire rooftop bar for a private event (contract attached). The event, a party for my husband's 50th birthday, was booked for *************** starting at 9pm. There will be approximately ***** people attending, including out of town guests. Between March and July 2025, I exchanged numerous emails with the General Manager and the owner of the venue, discussing various details of the event. On July 15, 2025, I spoke to the new General Manager of the venue, ******, who informed me that he would not honor the contract that I had signed. He informed me that as the contract had been signed by his predecessor, he has no obligation to honor the contract, and accordingly I will not be permitted to host my party at Yalla Oasis Rooftop. I tried to explain to him that I had a signed contract with the venue, and that a change in the General Manager would not negate the legality of the contract. But he would not budge. At this late date (about one month prior to the event), I am unable to find a reasonably priced venue for this event. All of the venues that I have contacted are quoting me prices approximately $15,000 for such an event. I am very frustrated, and believe Yalla has a legal obligation to honor my contract. If they do not honor the contract, I expect them to pay me $15,000 to find an alternate location.
