    On Saturday June 29th, Shell Gas Station located ********************* advertised on ******** and Radio to give $25 gift cards to the first 95 people between 12noon and 2pm. I attended this event and waited in line over one hour before 12noon and was number 5 in line. When the event started at 12noon there where no gift cards available to be given away.

    Dear Dispute Resolution Team,

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have reviewed the complaint from *** **** ****** regarding the $25 gift card promotion at our Shell Gas Station located at ********************************************************************

    We would like to clarify the following points regarding the situation:

    1. Issuance of the Gift ************************* did indeed receive the $25 gift card on the day of the promotion, June 29th, as part of our advertised event. We had the gift cards available and distributed them as promised to the first 95 people, including *** ******, who was number 5 in line.


    2. Use of the Gift ************************* returned to our station nearly two weeks later, attempting to use the gift card after it had expired. The expiration of the card was clearly communicated, and unfortunately, we were unable to honor the card once it had passed its valid date.


    3. Previous Complaint Resolution: *** ****** escalated this issue by filing a complaint with the District of Columbia government. We provided the necessary documentation and details regarding the distribution and expiration of the gift cards, and we won the case based on the facts presented.


    In light of these facts, we believe we have already addressed and resolved *** ******* concerns fairly and in accordance with the terms of the promotion. If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

    I am rejecting this response because:None of the statements made by the merchant is true, no gift card was ever issued in this matter and the statements made by the merchant is all totally false.
