My wife has signed a contract with the cleaners. They wanted to $400 deposit. they came in on 28 September at 10 o’clock. I questioned her on the screens on the windows she got upset and said no we won’t do them then I told her I don’t know what my wife was thinking but $1100 to get a house cleaned I thought that was a lot of money, and then she got upset and said do you want us to leave and I said no you have the deposit start cleaning the house and then she said no we’re leaving. I called my wife, my wife call Hannah within minutes of her leaving. She was still outside when my wife called her she could’ve came in and clean the same day. She was still there but you chose not to my wife pleaded with her to please clean the house. She told my wife she would come on 11 October and I would not be allowed to be in the house while they were cleaning I would have to leave my wife agreed. Anna text my wife on 6 October saying she would not be able to come on the 11th. My wife called her and said this is not gonna work. We can’t be waiting for you whenever you feel like it to come and clean. then Hannah started swearing at my wife and yelling at her. We wanna deposit back. She’s not giving us our deposit back she was asked to clean the house when she came over in September 28 and she refused and she refused to come on the 11th as well. What are we supposed to think?

The morning of Thursday, September 28, 2023 myself, and two employees arrived at the home of ****** and ***. As soon as we arrived, we barely made it up the stairs when *** became very aggressive. He was upset and concerned about the window screens being cleaned during their post construction cleaning. I had spoken to his wife ****** the night before via text message explaining to her that screen cleaning is an extra add-on and not included. I did offer to use a microfiber cloth to dust off the screens. When I was elderly mother was at the home the time of the incident as well. She had witnessed her son-in-law, becoming violent, and very agitated. After *** became more aggressive, and was coming closer and closer to me, leaving inches away from each other, he continue to scream, and use foul language at myself and my partners, while I was nicely explaining that I had already spoken to his wife regarding the screens. He then voiced his concern about the price of the post construction cleaning. I continue to hold my composure, and was very professional, explaining to him exactly what was already discussed with his wife. He then asked *** to please back up and to not speak to me in that manner, so became more aggressive, and that is when myself and my employees left the home, so we were not at risk of a dangerous situation. This made *** even more angry, and he continued to follow us out of the house screaming, his mother-in-law came out of the home with us with ****** on the phone explaining to her that her husband was being irate and that situation was getting worse. At this time *** returned inside and I was in my vehicle. I had explained to her what had happened when we arrived, and she was in tears and completely understood. She even stated that she knew that her deposit was nonrefundable. Out of the kindness of my own heart I did offer to reschedule her post construction cleaning as long as her husband *** was not at the home the time of the cleaning. We rescheduled the post construction cleaning for Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 9 AM. I explained to her that I was not putting myself or my employees at risk. I had reached out to ****** Friday October 6, 2023 via text message explaining to her that my son had gotten into an accident and he had an emergency orthopedic appointment the same day and that I would be a couple hours late to start cleaning. ****** was not happy with me changing the time, even after I went out of my way to reschedule a cleaning after her husband verbally attacked myself and my employees. She continued to request her deposit back because she wanted to now cancel her cleaning for Wednesday, October 11, 2023. I explain to her that she has signed a contract stating that if the job was canceled the deposit was nonrefundable. I have been in business for years and have never had a problem like this before I am very professional. I do not like to be falsely accused of something I did not do and I am here to represent myself and my company and employees. I went above and beyond to try and work something out with Lynn even after the incident with her husband and nothing I could say made them happy. I have attached the contract that ****** had signed as well as text messages between the two of us the day of the incident as well as Friday the evening I reached out to ask if I could come later on Wednesday the 11th.!
