Hello,My car was towed today, 03.26.25, by a company called RMA Towing. I was parked in a parking lot that said "authorized parking", which I believed to be "authorized" for a restaurant on Routt. The signage did not specify that the parking was specifically and ONLY for a hair salon called The Pink Flamingo. Had the signage said "Pink Flamingo Parking Only", obviously, I would not have parked there. Absolutely none of the signs indicated that the parking was not authorized for the restaurant. "Authorized" by whom? How is anyone to know who is authorizing the parking when there are no signs indicating the parking lot is solely for a shabby hair salon?Based on review of both RMA Towing and Pink Flamingo, I am by far the only person who has had this experience. Based on the many others who have had the exact experience I just went through, it is apparent the signage is purposefully left vague to confuse patrons of the restaurant and be liable for a $398 towing bill. Even if there was a sign that said "no parking for restaurant patrons" that would be clear and not a blatant act of purposeful miscommunication and greed. It is very apparent there is a relationship between Pink Flamingo and RMA Towing. I can understand a business owner's frustration if there isn't parking for salon patrons, but there were NO patrons of the salon, not to mention ample parking even if there had been. This isn't a business owner protecting space for clients; this is nefarious act to obtain some sort of gain for the towing of cars. Based on the many reviews of others who had this experience, I strongly ask and encourage the BBB of Pueblo to look into this and take action. Many families simply cannot afford a $398 towing bill. It's a disgrace to our community to purposefully mislead people this way.Thank you for your time.

Business towed my vehicle without notice from the parking lot I PAY to park in. But to boot 376 dollars for a 10 block tow ?? Its extremely predatory and taking advantage of decent people who pay a lot to live in the building. Between me and the 10 other cars in the lot 2 others were missing parking passes. But took the shiny new vehicle instead of anyone else.

The business has stated there was no permit in the vehicle and therefore the owner requested the tow. This information is also presented on the consumers receipt.

My car was towed 8-10-2023 by RMA from the Phoenix apt. I drove the car over there from up the street to a potential buyer. I was no longer than 8 mins before I came out the building and ny car was gone. At first I thought it had got stolen my some of the individual hanging out around there as I looked for my car for hours someone I ran across suggested that I might want to check the tow yards and said it was probably RMA, as I proceeded to contact them I spoke to a lady that put me though a mountain of questions before she told me that my car was there, I was told that it would b $368.00 to get it out but this was Friday night and they were closed on weekends and I had to make a appointment so the earliest I could do this was Monday by that time it would be ******. I told the lady this is ridiculous and there was no signs posted saying we couldn't park there, the woman told me yes it was and if I wanted my car to bring cash and valid idor in 30 days the car would b lost to them. I don't have money like that and feel that I was a target by RMA and don't feel I should have to pay anything see that I didn't park there for over eight mons, I can see if I parked over night but for eight min and no warning this is ridiculous and now I'm at a thousand or better. Paid $364 after this towing company had my car for 2 hours on Saturday 3/11/2023. What a disgusting company with no humanity. Our car was towed by a business they partner with, pink flamingo hair salon, who has many bad reviews due to setting people up to get towed. The sign which we didnt even see is actually placed smack in the middle of two parking lots with no business name on it. When I called as they had just drove away with my car I asked if they could just bring it back and Id pay all expenses because otherwise Id be stranded with my 9 month old son. The lady I spoke with was utterly rude to me and explained I needed cash only and an appointment to pick my car up. Got a Lyft to get my parents car from their house and left my son at the restaurant with my mom to make it 10 min early before my appt. Had to wait over 20 min for the truck to show up and release our vehicle and they wouldnt even allow us in the office for them to explain charges. While waiting we called twice and were told someone would be with us shortly but no one was even there! I requested photos they are legally required to take and was told to email them to get them, hoping they respond accordingly. I was under the impression ******** towing companys had to give a 24 hr notice but according to ********* there are ways around that which is unreal. The amount I had to pay was outrageous and they are without a doubt setting people up to get towed. I wouldnt be surprised if the pink flamingo hair salon gets a cut of each tow since you can ONLY pay cash. The time stamps on my receipt on when the business owner called (receipt states she called at 12:45) are also incorrect and I can prove that with my call log to 911 at 12:46 pm as I thought my car had been stolen initially.
