    Two young Mountain High Disposal solicitors came to my home yesterday evening to market their company's services. They had a laminated infographic with their rates. I didn't have time to discuss their sales pitch since it was dinner time and asked for a flyer to review later. They told me they had no flyer but could send me information via email. I provided our name and contact info, and, like other people who've left recent reviews, they told me they needed my initials to confirm they had talked with a real person before they could email me information. Within an hour, they sent an email, not with information about their company but with a service agreement indicating we had agreed to service with the company. Not at all what the solicitors claimed when we spoke.Particularly sleazy was learning that the initials they'd asked me to add were actually on the service agreement and that the solicitors had checked a series of boxes on the form without my knowledge or consent indicating I wanted service. I spent 30 minutes this morning making ***eat calls to the company until someone took me off hold to resolve the issue. When I explained what happened, the customer *** was not at all concerned with this illegal business practice. She told me our contact info had been removed from their system and tried to finish the call quickly despite me raising again my concern about this business practice. At that point, I let her know I would be contacting the BBB about this issue and ended the call. As I am clearly not the only person recently who has been party to this scam, I hope that BBB will look into the company's business practices and help protect local residents from this kind of fraudulent behavior.

    A nice young fellow approached me in our driveway and said his company, Mountain High Disposal was going to start working in our area. He said several people in our neighborhood were not happy with the disposal service in this area, and he told me my neighbor North (next door) of us signed up. I told him I had to run it through my husband. He showed me the cost that they were charging. I asked him for a copy of what he was showing me, and he asked for my email to send it to me. He said he needed my initial on his lap top to do that. I was hesitant, but he seemed to need it. So I put in my initials. Then I looked for Mountain High Disposal (claimed cost) a couple of days later and I notice I was signed up to get their service. I was pretty mad! I then called one of the two numbers and got no answer, and it was still business hours. I was very mad and left a "very unhappy voice mail". I then called ***************************** to let them know, via voice mail, what had happened. I the received a phone call from ***************************** and told them what happened. They told me to call ************************ and leave a review. Shortly later Mountain High Disposal called and evidently they did not like my irritated voice mail and they and they sent me a note that they are cancelling the service. I have lost two hours of my time, I won't get back, so I still irritated I fell for this scam.

    Warning ... Mountain High Disposal knocked on my door today to tell me about their waste/recycling services. Since it's a little less than what I'm paying now, I expressed an interest and gave them my contact information. When I later checked my email, I got a copy of a "signed" service agreement that I had never signed, which notified me I only have one week to cancel these services. Luckily I caught this in time. (BTW their rates weren't that much lower than what I'm paying now. I use ************** for $84/quarter. Mountain High Disposal would have been $69/quarter with the first two months free.) Great deal, but I stay away from sneakiness.

    I used to have Bunting at an ****** that I own in *******. My cans can't site directly on the sidewalk due to the bus stop right there and I can't place them on the busy ******************. So I built a brick slab 3 feet from the sidewalk. I live 50 miles from the property so I can't drive up there every week (especially in winter) just to move the cans 4 feet so the lazy driver's mechanical arm can reach them...and Bunting NEVER had a problem grabbing my 2 cans from where they are (with an actual HUMAN). When Mountain High took over they consistently ignore my cans (clearly visible) because, apparently they have can't be bothered to provide the service that Bunting did consistently for 5 years. The rental is empty half of the year so they don't half to do ANYTHING 26 weeks out of the year (despite the fact that I pay for the whole year). I sent them photos from ****** Earth to show the situation, showed aerial photos, and when I tried to cancel and get a pro-rated refund, these non-professional crooks said they don't give refunds for "pre-purchased services". DO NOT use Mountain High. They're lazy, inconsistent, dishonest and unprofessional. You'll be trapped in a contract for 3 months against your will.I don't think they allow me to give zero stars so here's one for there lousy "service".

    They were consistent for a long while, then all of a sudden my trash was skipped multiple times. They made every excuse in the book and I'm still having problems with them. I'm waiting now to see if it will be picked up today since it wasn't last week and I am disabled. I found out that our regular driver was changed which seems to be the problem. Hopefully they fix it because I'm going to report them on everything if they don't. We've been loyal customers for over 3 years. Always paid on time and for this to keep reoccurring is not ok at all for services not rendered when payment has been made.

    Discontinuing service due to moving, bill is paid through end of April 2025 (3 months) and today is March 4th. They will not reimburse part of the payment for the remaining days of cycle. I Will not recommend this company and will let my neighbors who use their service what has transpired.Also the wait time to talk with someone is very very long, unacceptable.

    This company sent a *** out to my neighborhood, I was polite and talked to him, told him I would consider it. He asked me for my email and phone no. to send me info. Asked me for my credit card to put on file, but I refused. I didn't agree to any contract, or sign up for new service but a month later I received an invoice. Apparently they made an account without my knowledge. I called promptly and got it cancelled, but it was very shady that they did this. ******.

    This company bought the company I was using. Its now been three weeks and they havent picked up my trash even though I promptly paid my first invoice. Ive called over six times, and was told it would be picked up the next day each time, until today when they said they would call me with a resolution in 24- to 48- hours. This companys customer service is ridiculously bad and its obvious they dont care about their customers.
