    I took my car here in november for a diagnosis and they gave me one for a bad timing belt only but when I picked up my vehicle I noticed that my steering wheel was broke before I left the lot so I went right back in and the owner said it must have been like that when I first brought it. I asked why it wasn't on the diagnosis and he said they probably couldn't hear or feel it and I had no proof so I had to give them $180 to fix a steering column that was fine when I first went there on top of $1350 for new timing belt. They gave me a year warranty but 9 months later and here we are. My car started making the same noise as when I took it the first time and I was told to get a second opinion instead of take it back there since they seem to be dishonest. I took it to another shop and the mechanic called me right away to let me know it looked like the last shop never replaced the timing belt. He said the belt was hanging and the part had oil on it and unless they ordered the part from ****** they believe it was the original part and informed me to take the part back to the shop and ask for my money back. He said it shouldn't have failed in 9 months if it was replaced with a new part. So today on 8-30-23, I went back to auto service and more and tried explaining to the owner but he said no no no I replaced it so I'm not giving your money back. I have original receipts and pictures. Please help me resolve this issue.
