    My truck was hit by another driver on the 19th of Jan. I think I took my truck to mikes on the 25th of Jan. I didn't hear back from them till the 8th but I wasn't able to get a hold of the other persons insurance company to find out was was going on. They never returned my calls till I called for a boss. Now the trucks totalled out and the shop wants to charge me ************************************************* back my truck. But the insurance needs the title and keys. Not sure what to do.

    While we did have a delay in contact time while waiting on insurance and the body shop to contact us about ***************************** 2006 ****** Titan, we did contact the customer or left multiple voicemails as soon as we heard from either of them. We then found out the Titan had been totaled NOT through insurance, but through one of our techs who happened to run into the customer cleaning out his vehicle, while we were away for lunch. We then waited weeks for the insurance to get ahold of us and approve that the Titan had in fact been totaled and to find out when the vehicle would be payed for an picked up. After not hearing anything for 2 or more weeks, we reached out to ****** to see if insurance had reached out to him and to get approval of release for vehicle to be towed away. He proceeded to show up at the shop wanting to take his vehicle with him where we explained multiple times that we had an outstanding bill of $825 dollars, not $1000 that the INSURANCE and ONLY the insurance had to pay and not a dime was charged to the customer. Even the owner ***** explained over and over in person while the customer was in the office, how this works and that this is a regular thing we have dealt with for 50 years of being in business. We reassured him nothing would "screw him over" (as the customer kept stating) and he did not want to listen. A few days later the vehicle was payed for in full by the insurance (invoice attached to this response) and picked up, which I then attempted to reach the customer to let him know and we heard nothing back, we tried to stay in contact trying to reassure the customer that everything was taken care of and no longer in our hands.
