I hired Denver Foundation Solutions for structural support repairs to my home. They left my house with a hole in it! They installed an angle iron in the side of house with out telling me or it being in the contract. When I asked for it to be removed the owner refused and terminated contract. They cracked my brick flower bed and patio roof soffit. To no surprise they refused to repair it or pay for someone else to repair. I had other repairs done to the house I was charged for that were not completed. I have paid my balance in full and requested a lien release. Denver Foundation Solutions refuses to provide me a lien release despite paying in full. They are not a reputable or trustworthy company to do business with.

Ms ******* original repair plan included helical piers to stabilize the front corner of the home.  After the contract was accepted, the Structural Engineer performed a site visit of finalized the design.  He removed some exterior stucco to view the area of repair and discovered the foundation wall was deteriorated and could not be repaired as originally determined.  The Engineer redesigned the scope to rebuild the front corner.  *** had a discussion with the homeowner to detail change of scope ordered by the Engineer and new *********** design was supplied.

This change of scope costs more to complete but *** kept the price the same in consideration of the customers budget.
There was also additional work discovered under the main floor of the area when demo was completed for the repair, also ordered by the Engineer.  This additional work was also not charged to the customer.  The completed work by *** was designed, inspected and conformed in writing from the Structural Engineer.

There had to be a discussion with *************** regarding soliciting additional work from our Employees not included in the original scope.  This was the customers attempt at getting additional work on the side for a cheaper price. This first happened with the concrete crew, where the customer paid our employee on the side for extra work, which was previously bid by ***. It was explained that this additional not contracted work is not insured or warranted and not permissible.

The final piece of the contracted work was tuck pointing and rebuilding of some brick which was in our scope.  This is the customers reference to a hole in my house.  When the *** employee arrived for that work, *************** again tried to solicit extra work paid on the side from him.  The employee also notified our office as this is not permissible. This was the reason for the termination of the remaining work contained in the contract.  This remaining work was not completed and removed from the invoice.

In reference to the brick planter being cracked, we have photos from the original evaluation which shows the crack present. The soffit was not in the area of our work.

In regards to the angle steel ordered by the Structural Engineer, very seldom is a structural repair aesthetically pleasing.  *** offered to stucco the steel when the tuck pointing was completed to get it to blend in with the home better, for no extra charge. This steel in on the side, between the houses and not visible from the street.

The repair is structurally adequate for the home with a major change of scope, not charged to the customer, designed and approved by the Structural Engineer.

*** appreciates customers choosing us for their structural repair and customer service is our number one priority.  We adhere to the ********* design and perform that work accordingly.

Regarding the lien release, there was not lien filed, therefore a release is not applicable.  When the customer did not pay for weeks after completion, a demand letter was sent stating a lien could potentially be considered.  The lien was not considered due the customer paying the invoice.  why here...
