Titan Vans defrauded me for over $600. They received my van for alleged "service" to a Webasto heater system twice, claiming that they were going to "clean" it, which is a well-defined operation with this unit, both by *******, and the industry. I found out that they were merely blowing the external intake and outtake exhaust with an air compressor at full blast, I tried to communicate to them that this is not the right thing to do, from previous experiences where contracted entities had properly cleaned the unit which involves disassembly, solvent and brush cleaning on the interior, and then reassembly.Titan aggressively rebuffed my communications, and successfully gaslit me as a consumer into accepting their "expertise", as well as their service, and trusting them with my van, even though I knew from better judgment that something was not right After the second visit, I finally heard back from Webasto, who I had begun inquiries with. They made it clear, from an email sent on August 4th, 2025:"As far as cleaning is concerned the only procedure is during a repair in which soapy water and a wire brush are used in the heat exchanger/combustion tube, and if needed to replace the burner assembly. At NO time should compressed air be used on our heaters." I then spoke on the phone to one of their technicians, who informed me that blowing the unit out aggressively with an air compressor would damage both the fan and the ***. Titan vans throughout gaslit me aggressively as a consumer, with their arrogance and aura of "expertise" , leading me to make the mistake of trusting them both the first time and the second time, defrauding me, damaging my unit, and treating me in a way unfair to an innocent consumer. I have reached out to the owner asking for a refund, compensation for the damages, and a guarantee that he will treat other people's units properly, his response merely reiterated the above arrogance, deflection, and gaslighting.
