      Complaint: 22787726

I am rejecting this response because:

      Dear ****,

I have read your rebuttal and will respond with these facts:

I asked my husband to take control of this new flood issue,as I was overwhelmed with dealing with previous insurance claims.  My husband said he would take control of this flood issue.

1 - My husband hired Anatom, as the mold remediation company.  The contractors were aware there was a mold problem from some unknown source, behind the wall in the primary walk-in closet.  That was why they were hired, to determine the source of the mold, and to repair everything to pre flood condition.   Anatom knew they had to remove the wall to determine the source of water, that was why we hired them.  Once the wall was open (which was the very first step in the whole mitigation process), they pinpointed the cause of the mold was from the upstairs neighbors plumbing.  We told the upstairs neighbor, and she hired a plumber to resolve the leak.  There was never a second leak found during the repairs that caused a delay in work.
2 Attached is a screenshot of my phone history (calls and texts) with ****.  I had only spoke to him ONCE on January 3rd, at 4:46 p.m, for 9 minutes and 28 seconds.  Every call before that to **** was from my husband, not me.  As soon as we got off the phone after 9 minutes, I texted him the pictures in question of remaining issues that were never fixed. That text occurred January 3rd, at 4:54 p.m. Precisely as we were getting off the phone. That was the only text history with ****.  The 2nd phone call from him on the 4th, was him asking me to tell ***** to call him, because he wasnt answering.  The text screenshots are attached also, including the one from me saying **** is calling me to speak to you, on January 4th.  My husband was the ONLY point of contact up until January 3rd, and the only reason why I got involved was because ***** was too busy at work at the moment, and he was very annoyed that Anatom had been out 3 times to fix the unacceptable repairs that continued to be not fixed properly.  So he asked me to take over the Anatom issue.

3 My husband was not satisfied with the job.  My husband and me talked often about how terrible the flooring and baseboard job was.  He told me verbally he was very direct with you, with the issues that still remained, and instructed you guys to go back out to fix the issues.  He had to call you guys back out 3 times.  I was at the condo every time you said you fixed the issues, and found they werent fixed.  Allens supposed additional work was in fact him asking you to go fix your slobby job. Having you out for repairs to correct what you did, is absolutely NOT unreasonable, but rather should be expected. I sent my husband text pictures of all the issues that continued to remain.  I have also uploaded all the texts between me and my husband regarding Anatom, between December 16th,2024 when you were hired, until January 4th, 2025 when I got involved.  All pictures were taken by me,not the tenant.  The man shown in the picture looking at the poor tile job with his phone, was the contractor sent out there to meet me at the 1st inspection. He did not speak English very well, but he was able to convey that his brother did the job.  I tried to ask him if his brother worked at Anatom, but he didnt understand what I was asking.

4 My husband is very much non-confrontational.  When asking him if he would take this task on for me since I was overwhelmed, I never considered that the installation of all the materials WE PAID FOR would be shockingly poor workmanship.  It truly looked like it was their first installation job.  Hence why I posted negative reviews and a BBB complaint, and requested Anatom to come back out AGAIN to fix the mistakes.  He was just as frustrated, and that is why he told me to take over.  He hit his limit also.

      5 My name is not ****** ??

      Better Business Bureau:

                                                                                                                                                             2-26-25
I just spoke to my husband, ***** ******, and read him your entire letter, aloud.

He disagrees with many of your statements, and wholeheartedly agrees with me regarding the poor level of work that was completed on our condominium unit.  He will not back you up he said.

He said he asked you to call me and talk to me regarding the complaints after the 1st time he asked you guys out to fix mainly the kitchen tile grout.  He has a problem being confrontational, so he asked you to talk to me so he didnt have to be the bad guy.  He said you were aware of me and that you did know I would be checking in on the work.

My pictures were never very enlarged pictures of small details or altered in any way. They were very significant issues with much of the labor performed.  Even the guy in my picture looking at the tile, told me His brother did the work.  They were simply pictures showing the shoddy work that was performed.  Nothing was fabricated or altered.  The pictures cant lie.  I never once called you a fraud.  It was just very poor workmanship.  Plain and simple.  The baseboards are very cheap MDF and not painted with trim paint.  The trim in the kitchen was cheap and didnt match. ***** said you sent him a PICTURE, and he never saw it in person, so his approval was based on a photo from your phone.

You did come out 3 times to fix the issues with the work you performed, but each time it wasnt fixed well, and many of our requests were ignored, like the hard sticky substances stuck on the *** in the primary bedroom by the primary bathroom.

We arent arguing with you about the leak.  There was a leak that caused the issue, clearly.  ***** thought you said you redid the grout.  He did not know you cleaned it.  But why did we have to ask you, the expert floorer, to clean it up in the first place?

Anyway, both me and ***** are sick and tired of going round and round with you on this.  Again, ***** had me get involved because he doesnt like confrontation.  The work was subpar and shoddily done, and the materials provided by you were cheap. There really isnt anything more to this than that.  Arguing back and forth is getting us nowhere.  So, Im closing this ticket with the BBB because we dont want this to continue any more than it is.

      Sincerely,
      ****** and ***** ******

in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this situation is going nowhere so we are closing the ticket.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******
