    I have a Steel building that needs Plans drawn for submittal to the City Planner. This was a Urgent need, because the Engineer State Stamp on the Steel Building Plans was going to expire 12/24. On 9/2024 I met with and hired ***** ***** of Dream, Design + Build to Design and submit the Plans to the City Planner before the Engineer State Stamp expires. I explain this to ***** many times about the Urgency of the need to have the Plans submitted before 12/24. 12/24 ***** called/came to me and ask for $1800.00. He said that he was ready to submit the Plans, so I gave him the $1800.00. From there on, every month I ask ***** ***** for the Plans, he had no Plans for five (5) months after he has stole my $1800.00. In May 2025 ***** ***** finally has the Plans ready with an expired Engineer State Stamp. We, ***** and I meet at the ********************. We are there 40 - 50 minutes. They are about to call us to the counter, and ***** knows this, he gets up and leaves. "Call me if they have questions". They have questions. He does not answer his phone. Now the City Planner Rejects the Plans for two or three reasons. Two I can remember, One the Engineer State Stamp expired and to much footage. This guy lead me on for months. I do believe that he knew that the Plans would be rejected with an expired State Stamp. Now some how this is my fault from him. This guy is purposely robbing me. He knew that he would not have the time to do this project, he knew. I have ask for my money back several times. He is at fault the Plans were rejected. When I ask why did you take this project if you knew that you could not do it? He stops responding. No answer

    "Sorry Mr. ******* we believe your complaint is with the engineer you hired, not Dream Design. The State of California requires an active engineer license to not only get city permit approval, but to also carry out the structural observations during construction. Please understand that your proposed project can in fact be approved, and we are happy to continue to provide our design and city expediting services to help you get the citys approval - However, the status of your engineers stamp is outside of our control.

    We offer our original recommendation to you again: work with our team of professionals, that includes a licensed engineer, to get your project approved as efficiently and stress-free as possible."
