On 6/9/25 I went to Speedee oil change on 2707 W. ********************** , ** to get an oil change on my 2023 Nissan rogue. While completing the oil change they informed me that the plug on the oil drip pan had broke. They informed me, that they could not let me drive my car and they would need to keep it over night. They are looking to order a new pan. They offered me a ride home but I was picked up by my son. They had me wait and about 15 minutes later, they said they would be getting a pan from ****** and they would fix my car first thing in the morning. On 6/10/25 I was charged $167.26 for the pan. When I asked why I was financially responsible they said I could take it up with ****** because they have a faulty pan and its not their fault. I asked, how is it my fault if you guys broke it. I spoke to the person who said she is the owner, ***** ***** and she advised me to call Nissan.Which I called ****** and they explained SpeeDee is responsible, possibly due to not using the right tool. I spoke to ***** 3 more times and nothing has been resolved. Im simply asking for a reimbursement because they have completed several oil changes on this car and no issues. Now that they broke the plug, Im being charged and its not fair. Thank you for your help.
