      First, I would like to apologize for your experience with HelloTech thus far. After a review of your account, I see that the additional charge you incurred was due to the installation location being different than what was listed in the service details when you booked the order online.

      Being that the add-on service description may have been a little confusing and you did not find out about it until we were about to perform the service, we have refunded the add-on charge.

      I have a service plan with Hello Tech. I have been attempting to cancel since April 2022. Back in April, Hello
      Tech was actually charging me twice. They would charge my bank account $16.23 twice. In April, I asked to cancel any and all service plans. Hello Tech did drop one of the charges. So now, they charge me one charge of 16.23 every month. When I log onto their customer service to complain, they say my service is already cancelled. I explain that I am still being charged. I send a copy of my bank charge and Hello Tech says they will escalate the matter. This has now been going on since May 2022. Pervious emails state they will look into my problem. But they never even respond further.

      On or around 3/4/22, Mr. *********** from HelloTech installed an ************ thermostat in my home. After completion of the job, Mr. ******, tested the ***** thermostat with the heat only. He did not test the A/C on my central A/C unit. Later on that year, when my A/C unit was not working, I contacted HelloTech to repair my central A/C unit. I was informed that they do not repair central A/C units and suggested that I should hire an HVAC company. I was charged $19.99 prior to being informed that HelloTech could not aid my current situation.

      On 7/13/22, I hired ******************************** to repair my central A/C unit. I was informed by the tech, ******** and his supervisor,****** that the ****** ***** thermostat was not only installed incorrectly but, all my freon gas had leaked out. This was because the outside compressor was rendered inoperable due to the faulty installation by Hello Tech. After completion of the job, I requested that the reason why my A/C unit was not operating properly be included on my invoice. The invoice totaled $2000.00.

      When I first contacted HelloTech, they denied any wrong doing. It was only then when I provided the proof on the invoice that they said they would investigate and contact me. I have contacted HelloTech on several occasions regarding Claim #****** and I felt that I was given the run around after providing them all the requested documents. I also made several requests to remove the $19.99 charge for services that I've never received when I called them to repair my A/C unit. In fact, I've had to contact my credit card company to dispute the $19.99 charge. HelloTech subsequently removed that charge. Currently, my A/C unit is operating properly and I am experiencing no issues with my central A/C unit. Enclosed is the invoice for repairs to my central A/C unit denoting the faulty installation by HelloTech.

      First, I would like to apologize for the experience that you've had with HelloTech thus far. After a review of your account, I see that you did reach out to customer support asking if we repair a/c's, to which you were told we do not. This is true. We do not repair a/c units.


      Upon submitting the invoice, the claims department reached out to the HVAC company, and it was determined that the thermostat installation did not cause $2,000 worth of damage as it was wired incorrectly. I do see that you were able to reach an agreement with the claims department regarding the HVAC repair.


      About the $19.99 charge being billed to your account, this is one of our monthly membership plans designed to give our customers more value so we can be their go-to for their tech issues. Since it was initiated unintentionally and you have yet to take advantage of any members-only discounts, the plan was canceled. Unfortunately, we were unable to issue a refund as the charge had already been disputed.

      on Aug 2 had an Hellotech rep at my house to fix my computer. He pushed the F2 key, nothing happened, and he said I should take it to the Geek Squad.
      I said I wanted my $99 back, he said to call the company, I have called every day since. I speak to a different person each time, each time I am told I will get an email from billing within 24 hrs and the credit will take 3-5 days. I have gotten no emails and no credit
