On 9/1/24, I made a 50% down payment of $600. I started working with **** on 9/4/24. On 9/14/24, I received an email from him informing me that he had a family emergency, he needed to return home. He stated he would stay connected via email. I did not hear anything from him, I reached out via phone to the number on the website.On9/25/24, I received an email from ****** ***** informing me to direct all communications to ********* ***** during ****** absence. I reached out to *********. Eventually, she wrote me back with some things to review that had been done to the website. I returned the email with the information she asked for, with no reply. On 10/10/24, I reached out to *******, with no reply. I again reached out to the main number. I was able to speak with ********* who told that my project had been sent to another company, "Pixels Web Studio." She defined this company as a subsidiary of Web Design Artisans. She made a phone call to **** *******, the person I was assigned to work with to introduce us. This company did not follow through to provide me with a working website either. On2/20/25, I sent an email to ******* telling him of the events and asking for help, as my website was being held hostage by the subsidiary company of his company and they refused to provide the backdoor/master information or provide a functional website. It had been roughly 6 months since I signed a contract. I reminded ******* of this hand-off and how I was never given a choice whether I wanted this subsidiary company or not. I was told after my project was reassigned.I explained to ******* how the subsidiary was not doing the work they agreed to and how they had told me a number of times I needed to pay more money. The contract clearly stated the fee as $1200.00. The contract covers both companies since it is subsidiary of the original. I let ******* know that we need to solve this issue or I would be forced to move on with legal action against both companies.
