I purchased 4 lights from Potter Barn's website (as they don't sell in the store nor do associates in the store assist with ordering). 2 of the lights arrived at my residence today, 4/8/24. The purchase price for these were $349 each. I was shocked to see that the two boxes that arrived were not Pottery Barn boxes but in fact boxes from the actual manufacturer of the lights. Their was also a packing slip from the manufacturer. I was curious because I felt like while it's not rare for a company to sell other peoples products, it was odd that i got a packing slip. I looked at the website which I had heard of before and noticed that they were selling the lights for $91 cheaper than Potter Barn. When I chatted in with PB on their website, they asked for more information (a picture of the boxes that I received as well as the website I went to) and then refused to price adjust, price match, or simply just accommodate the fact that they did not make any effort to conceal how much they've jacked the priced of these lights. I asked for a manager, they said that managers don't take over chats. They did not offer a manager to call or make anything right. I think this is extremely bad business.
