Grid money looks good on the surface, but they are a complete scam. Everyone should report them to the *** for non-compliance with the Click to Cancel Act. When you attempt to cancel your membership, they will repeatedly ask you to confirm that you want to cancel, before sending you to an agent, who then makes you open a support ticket, which doesn't get answered. I paid back my advance before my "membership" was due, and requested cancellation and deletion of my account. They said my membership had indeed been cancelled on 6/4, only to show on 6/5 that I "owed" them. When I contacted support about deleting my account, they said my account could not be deleted because I had an outstanding membership fee. So clearly despite all of my efforts to cancel, as well as them saying my service was cancelled, they never did. Essentially they bait you into the cash advance, and just hope you give up trying to cancel, because of how impossible they make it. I hope people will report them for these scam like tactics, and stop using their services. Definitely too much hassle for $50.

I finally got approved and used a $50 cash advance, which was all done on my end of around 1:37 AM Eastern standard time. I for the quick transfer so I can go get myself a pack of cigarettes and then call it a night. It is currently 2:10 in the afternoon on the East Coast in ******* and there Support phone numbers are all off-line still from last night and their chat pot alsostopped responding to me at 2 AM so I have been duped out of what I spent for the instant transfer obviously without saying as its been over 12 hours since I was supposed to receive it. But now the The app signed me out, and I go to sign in using my biometrics and my passwords invalid and then I go to type it in manually and they cant even find my email anymore. This is without a doubt, a sca. I have ************************** images outlining every and all details The prior 12 1/2 hours Ive had with this absolute nightmare of a Financial trap have become. This is clearly a fraudulent business, I shouldve looked at the Better Business Bureau reviews before trying it ****** not use this app. Do not give them any of your information. If you see it in the App Store or ****** play, go ahead and block everything from that developer take it the extra mile and watch yourself.

Stupid customer service and stupid product, remitting payments on unauthorized days of the month... make your terms CLEAR and also fix your s***** system from detecting INCORRECT income deposit dates... if your stupid advances are based on someone's income schedule they why the h*** would your system detect WRONG income deposit dates?? You're just a trash "solution" with trash personnel... I'm reporting your entire entity for poaching my account , and you will be shut down in the near future.. incompetent fools

Your repayment date is the next pay date detected by our system after receiving the advance. The exact date should be shown to you when you are requesting the new advance. If you want a later repayment date, please feel free to wait a few days before getting a new one. We do not have the capability to manually change your repayment date as it's set at the time you take the advance out. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

The Grid Money app has caused significant financial harm and credit score damage. For several months, I was unable to pay off my balance due to Grid's inability to accept deposits into their accounts. The only repayment method provided by Grid is through the Grid card, which has been rendered nonfunctional due to processing issues with Synapse, their banking partner. This lack of functionality has resulted in nine late payments being reported to credit bureaus, severely impacting my credit score. Additionally, Grid failed to notify its customers formally about these banking issues. The only communication on this matter has been a message within the app stating:"Due to issues at our banking partner, all money movement on Grid Card is currently frozen. Please do not attempt to add funds or set up direct deposits."This insufficient communication and lack of resolution demonstrate negligence and poor customer service. I reached out to customer service to have this issue resolved in May which they responded: "Due to issues with our credit services provider, ************************************, our banking partner ********************* has frozen all activity that it believes may be related to ************************************, including but not limited to any debit or credit cards issued by ******. As a result, Grid Card transactions and transfers are currently disrupted. If you set up direct deposits to your Grid Card, please switch to another bank now. We're in constant contact with *********** and Trust as well as ************************************ in an attempt to resolve these issues and will give you an update when the matter is resolved. " They never contacted me after that.I reached out recently to customer service to have the balance paid because they keep reporting negatively on my credit for a balance of $1 despite not giving customers the option to pay on the platform! DO NOT USE THIS APP. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

I haven't used this app in 2 years and they randomly charged me a subscription fee. My account shows i have a free subscription and their helpdesk immediately ignored my request and are ignoring me completely. This is a scam and anyone's bank account tied to this service is proved to be scammed. This is why they have a 1 star review.

I lost my job a few weeks ago n although I was worried I thought to myself. Well at least I have income protection from grid right? Absolutely wrong. I have sent them every document I could find to prove I was unemployed. Letters from my previous employer that states the company shut down so it was an involuntary lay off. Paid my fee on time for months. I met ever requirement but still they stalled for weeks by asking me for the same documents over n over. When finally I just asked for a refund on my fees and guess what? They gave it to me instantly. Because there is NO protection money. Ive read multiple stories where people had the same experience but decided to give them a chance anyway. But dont make the same mistake I did. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Go to a legit income protection insurance and invest in them because this app is a fraud. Thank God I found another job right on time before I became homeless but dont let this be the case with you take your money, your trust and business to a company with a customer service number at least. When the class lawsuit for this app gets out, I cant wait to be apart of it because this app is truly a scam.

Hi *****, We sincerely apologize for the confusion. Rest assured there, the cancelation of the Income Protection does not change your eligibility to receive the cash benefits. Your submitted claim is still being carefully reviewed and processed. Thank you so much for your patience!

They told me they canceled my subscription months ago but every month they deduct 5.00 out of my account. I have contacted them many times and they give you the standard line about owing a balance eventhough i have proof i owe them nothing else. My attorney is looking into filing a class action lawsuit against this company. Horrible. Stay away!!

Hi *******, I apologize for the confusion and inconvenience. As mentioned before when we processed your cancelation request, even if your membership was canceled, the overdue account balance will still remain the same, which remains your responsibility to repay. If we were not able to charge your bank account on file for any overdue balance when they were due, we would attempt to collect the membership fees when we are able to. This may result in multiple charges on the same day, which cover the outstanding balance on your account. Hope it clarifies!

I have used this service for quite some time and have recently ran into a financial hardship and was unable to pay. I requested authorization be revoked to any upcoming debits. I provided the last 4 of what I thought was my debit card as well as the last four of my account number. They responded back letting me know the connection had been broken and this was taken care. On the day I got paid, I see a pending charge for the advance. I reach out to them to request a refund and they told me they were unable to provide one because only ACH authorization was stopped, not debit card. I explained I requested all debits be stopped not just ach.. but the company still refuses to issue a refund. After going back and I looking at the email thread, I realized I mixed up one number. 6175, not 6275. Instead of the rep asking for clarification, he only stopped the ach. I figured since the company took funds from me, I would be able to do another advance and now I have since been told that since I revoked authorization, I was ineligible for another advance. They have no problem taking my money, although I requested it be stopped, but when I need to use the services due to the issue created by their customer service time, Im unable. I can admit that I made a small error when providing the last 4 of the debit card, but their customer service is c*** The rep should have taken additional steps when he realized that card was not listed on my profile. Ive never seen a company so h*** bent on not offering any sort of assistance.

Horrible Business.I completely forgot that I had a subscription to this service. I am actually not even sure I ever made a subscription it probably enlisted me automatically. According to the account history I used this in November of 2022. I unknowingly was racking up subscription charges and now I owe a substantial amount of subscription fees.

I was expecting a deposit between May 13th and May 15th and receive notification that there was an issue with evolved bank or another financial institution that grid was dealing with which delayed or restricted my deposit from going into my account. Great that this without any notification to me that there would be an issue and now I am being penalized because I don't have my deposit. They are shut down the chat and their customer service number you cannot get through to speak with anyone because they are afraid to deal with this issue.
