I am trying to close on a house and I have been unfortunately waiting for over a week to receive documentation from dojo tutor that confirms that im not a tutor with them. Everything they asked for I did, but they have changed thrice what I should submit. Initially I was told to type what the document should say- I did. Then I was told to change the wording so I used exactly what the *** suggested. Then I got an email to put the document in a pdf. This is totally absurd, especially when im not even a tutor with dojo. I told them this is urgent and I feel that ever since I've said that, they've moved slower and slower with responding and providing what I've asked for. I truly don't appreciate my time being wasted like this. Its unacceptable.Customer Answer

I am happy to update that class dojo was very apologetic for the delay in my request, and will take steps to ensure that what happened with me doesn't happen again in the future. I did receive the document that I waited two weeks for, on Tuesday 7-8-25 after 1pm from Cherry. I just wanted to let you know that this matter was resolved. My elementary aged son and i share an Apple ID , he uses an app called class dojo for school. We have been utilizing this app for years .On or around November 11th He accidentally subscribed to the paid version of the app . He said he cancelled it but i was charged a little under $80 prior to the end of the free trial subscription, from what i can see the free trial ended on the 18th i was charged on the 17th . The subscription was not intended, and we would greatly appreciate your help in processing a refund. I have already taken steps to prevent such incidents in the future by enabling parental controls and purchase restrictions on my account. I dont even see the difference from the paid version of the app versus the free version weve been using all these years. ***** and ****** are giving me the run around.Business Response

I subscribe to Class Dojo for tutoring however in the month of may the were several cancellations I would even send email stating that my child not be available but I would be charge for service not rendered upon request i was informed that I will not be receiving any Refund. One way ago I send an email informing them I would like to pause tutoring until September I was informed that I would have to start back on July 27 However no service rendered on Sunday June 30 but once again my account was charged then I am being told I have to wait for 1 to 5 business days for a refundBusiness Response

My daughter has been utilizing the class dojo tutoring 3 times a week 09/2023. It has been a nightmare. They have been charging my card incorrectly especially when I notified them about incorrectly charging me and then they refund only for another person to charge me again. Not only that I notified them when my daughter had a scheduling conflict and I needed to hold off on classes for a few days. They still would charge me or promise not to charge me for those weeks classes and did it! Upon calling my bank we reviewed transactions specific to spring break that I was charged ****** my bank reviewed email confirmation between me and class dojo regarding them double charging me after refunding me for 1 week of classes that they charged me double for and my bank refunded my monies per the claim of ***** showing I was correct and class dojo double charged me. This complaint is stemming from past issues where Im sure I may have been double charged and I havent noticed it also I contacted them Thursday or Friday that just past to tell them my daughter would more be available for class Monday 5/13/24 and they told me no classes were scheduled but couldnt say why then I get email showing my daughter has a claS and they took the funds off my card that I actually removed on Friday 5/10 from my account!Business Response

I was charged incorrectly and was supposed to receive a refund. Then I was charged 4 more times over the course of 2 weeks after canceling tutoring. I've been trying to contact someone for two weeks and have been in able to receive a response and have not received a refund.Business Response

on 9/25/23 classdojo charged ***** to credit card. We used this app when our child was in 3rd grade. He us now in 5th grade and we no longer use it. We logged into account to cancel but could not figure it out. Called the phone number the credit card gave us ************ but could not cancel or talk to a human after 30 minutes. Credit card tried to help but ClassDojo used our login as saying we are using their product just fine. I do not want to be charged again next year so I cancelled my credit card. In my opinion this company is evil and I do not think this should be legal.Business Response
