Access Parks has been bothering me for the last 2 months trying to get me to sign up for their services. I have 4 calls and 1 email from them, along with several papers put in my mailbox about switching service. Access Parks has illegally cut the wiring to the infrastructure that my internet service provider, ******** owns. The Mediacom tech was threatened that they (someone with/representing access parks) would cut the wiring again. 30 mins later while ******** was still outside my house making phone calls, the wires were cut close to the ground. I have proof from my park manager that ******** is not being removed from the park and that I do not have to sign up for access parks. About 3 days ago I get a letter shoved on the side of my mailbox, and I see surrounding trailers with the same letter. It says NOTICE UPGRADE TO FIBER OPTIC INTERNET. Our park is upgrading wired internet service from outdated copper coax cable to faster more state of the art fiber optic internet from access parks. As a result the old coaxial cabling has been replaced and your cable service is no longer active. Please make arrangements to transition service as the current wired providers access to the property has been canceled ******** does not sell their infrastructure. They did not allow access parks to cut Mediacoms wiring, disrupting service to several paying customers. I do not feel comfortable in my home knowing this company has cut the wires to my Internet twice now. I will upload photos of the cut wires and confirmation that Mediacom is not getting removed, as well as the phishy letter that everyone received. There has been no formal date or notice of when/if service is being disconnected. They just decided to illegally chop wires. If this was a legit thing, ******** would have emailed me and the park manager would have sent out information as well. I did contact my local police department but they did not file a report. I believe access parks shouldnt be in business.

      • 23514983: The customer had issues with the fact that the owner of the manufactured housing community contracted with AccessParks to take over wired internet service to the community, from the cable company.  This was entirely within the landlords right as the community is private property, and the cable company had no legal agreement to be serving customers on property.  ******************** took over the 50-year-old copper coaxial cabling (owned by the property owner) and disconnected it so that new fiber-optic cabling could be run to every home.  Again, the *** regulations are clear that the property owner can provide legal right for AccessParks to replace the cabling and offer its wired Broadband service.   In addition, the complaint states that no notice was provided to tenants.  For four months prior to the cutover, there was constant marketing to residents that the transition was imminent.  Door hangers, direct mail flyers, emails and letters were sent to every home, every 2-4 weeks prior to the cutover.  We believe that any issue the resident has with the communication from the property owner, and decision by the owner to contract with AccessParks, is between the resident and the owner.  AccessParks has detailed evidence that it complied with all *** regulations and has not acted unethically or illegally.

      • 21820097: Ms ***** had several issues in 2024 and 2025.  According to our ticketing system the issues with the Internet were resolved.  They were caused by bad coaxial cabling within the community, which was repaired.  The TV service is managed by a separate company, Its all about Satellites, and AccessParks has no involvement in any TV quality issues.  Tickets the customer has filed in 2025 regarding **************** have been responded to and resolved quickly.
