I was not provided with ************************* online services, namely access to their TWEN page as a guest, like they provided to other alumnus they deemed continuing bar takers. (I did not take the bar exam because their promised bar review course was not what understand other students had access to l, namely instructional videos as a result, I didnt take the bar and had a bad taste and self-studied for 2 years and had to repurchase bar pre material on my own pocket, as opposed to that I already paid with my tuition!) I just want the services they provide to other people they deem continuing bar takers, namely writing feedback. Director of Bar Preparation ************************* and so far ignored my emails asking for access and highlighting these concerns. If the school wont give me access to what they give other bar students in dire need, they could at least have the courtesy to mail me an alumni shirt like I asked Student Affairs ****, *************************. Thank you for your help on this urgent matter.

The Law School offers support to all alumni who are studying for the bar exam via the Continuing Bar Candidate program. This optional program is offered to all alumni and runs for the 3 months leading up to each bar exam. In order to participate, alumni must send an email with their personal email address so they can be enrolled and provided access to the learning platform. Following his graduation in December 2020, he was enrolled in the materials for both the February 2021 and July 2021 exams. An email was sent to him in November 2021 explaining how he could opt-in to receive these materials for future study periods. He did not opt in to any future study periods. On 7/30/23, 4 days after the administration of the July 2023 exam, he sent an email opting into the next session offered.

In 2019 the Law School entered into an agreement with a commercial bar preparation provider, BARBRI,through which students pay a material access fee for 6 semesters and, in exchange, are provided various services during law school as well as access to a bar preparation course after graduation. ****** offers students who have not paid for 6 semesters, a deeply discounted rate on their bar preparation course to reflect the payments made. He paid the material access fee 4 times (Spring/Fall 2019 and Spring/Fall 2020). As such, he was told there was a $400 balance to be enrolled in the course (in addition to a refundable materials deposit and shipping fee for books). All students graduating in this cohort were made aware they could stay enrolled in BARBRI and pay the balance in order to receive access to the materials or they could opt out of the program and receive a refund of $900 to use toward another bar preparation course. He chose not to opt out of the program, but also chose not to pay the balance for access to the materials. He has been informed via email the Law School will assist him in contacting BARBRI if he would like to pay the balance and access the materials.
