      I have been a loyal System Mechanic Ultimate user since 2007. I usually add time to my subscription when a pop up appears on my computer at a discount rate. I did that again this Nov. 2022. The popup says nothing about 1 month free tech service support followed by monthly billing of $21.40. In addition IOLO we no longer allow me to sign on using my account and download the program to a new computer. Even though my subscription was paid through **** it said my program had been disabled. You must contact a customer svc. rep and give them remote access to your computer to download the software which I don't like to do especially with foreign support techs. While they are downloading the program to your computer and enabling it they will spend that time trying to sell additional privacy protection at $320. This has all happened recently since RealDefense LLC name started popping up. It appears as if this company has become a very unscrupulous company in the way they operate. Please take heed and look at the way they operate carefully before making a decision. They are not the same company I worked with since 2007!

      I have used their services for last many years and very happy to be a member. It would have cost me a lot more money for resolving many issues that can creep up at a moments notice. The best thing best the cost almost immediate LIVE support ! The technical staff are highly knowledgeable or experts. I have all three computers in my home covered. I highly recommend their services.

      Used Iolo for the last 15 years. When I attempted to extend my time, the terms of service forced auto renewal. I contacted customer support, who informed me that there was no longer an option for a one time purchase. They then told me I was on auto renewal already, even though my settings were not set that way. It seems that they changed my settings in February without my authorization, and without ever notifying me. The settings were changed on a work day where I was at work without internet access. This was fraud.

      My tech support person ********************* was so very helpful! Made some changes and got me working again. Showed me a couple of things I could do if possible happened again.I think that Real Defensee LLC has quite a "catch" in this tech support person!!
